Die Fonds kaufen die Telekom heute auch verstärkt. Hier die Meldung von thompsoninvest.net:

28-Aug-00 12:46:14 Deutsche Telecom (DT) announced an acquisition of Powertel (PTEL) in a move to shore up its US operations. Over the last 6 months, DT has plummeted 60% from its high of $100 1/4 in April to its current price of $40 1/2 on concerns that DT had waited too long to enter the US market and that it has overpaid for its recent acquisitions. Notwithstanding the above, institutions have used price weakness as buying opportunities in recent months. Block trades have occurred, on balance, at a price higher than the previous trade over the past several months. The positive money flow suggests that institutions are moving into DT. Today`s buyout announcement was met with some initial selling. However, buyers quickly moved in and DT moved up more than a $1 off its lows to trade in positive territory. DT is currently trading up $1/4 at $40 1/2. Super buy messages continue to appear on the I-Watch pre-trade chart backing today’s higher prices, which suggests that institutions are slightly more aggressive in their purchases. Block trades account for 70% of the total volume confirming that institutions are very active in today`s trading. However, institutional brokers have reported 428k shares as buys, 517k shares as sells, and 575k shares as cross trades, which suggests that there are still some institutions looking to get out of DT. Additionally, the stock’s sharp decline has created overhead supply, as many traders who are holding losing positions will look to pare their losses on any rally, which could hamper the stock’s rise.

Bei allem teilweise negativem Geschwätz, das teilweise in letzter Zeit im Umlauf war ist es nun mal Fakt, daß die Fonds an der Telekom nicht vorbei kommen.

Bzw. auch zum großen Teil garnicht vorbei kommen wollen.
