Hallo,
Kuefer

De Grey to raise $4.5m ahead of listing
May 10
AAP
Minerals explorer De Grey Mining Ltd has lodged a prospectus to raise $4.5 million to help fund exploration at three West Australian projects.
De Grey, led by well-known prospector Denis O`Meara, has advanced platinum and palladium targets just south of Port Hedland, copper and gold targets at Beyondie, south-east of Newman and gold anomalies at Horans Dam, 14 kilometres north-west of Kalgoorlie.
The issue, which is fully underwritten by Intersuisse Corporate Pty Ltd, comprises 22.5 million shares at 20¢ each with an attaching option for every share purchased.
Mr O`Meara and associate director Michael Baker will emerge with just under 10 per cent of the stock each while prospector Mark Creasy - famous for selling his interests in the Bronzewing and Jundee tenements to Joseph Gutnick`s Great Central Mines in 1994 for more than $130 million - will have around 2.5 per cent.
The company is chaired by Ron Manners, a seed investor who is also chairman of Croesus Mining NL while veteran geologist Geoff Blackburn is the group`s exploration manager.
Mr O`Meara, who has been responsible for several discoveries, including gold and base metals at Beyondie Bluff in WA, said De Grey was purely an exploration float chasing major deposits.
"It is a pure exploration float, it makes no pretension about being anything else.
"It is based on prospecting and it is exciting that there is still new prospecting discoveries to be made out there."
He said after years of prospecting and exploration work, De Grey had narrowed its search to three sites showing potential to be major discoveries.
"Technically all three prospects are very sound.
"We could have farmed them but because we have the expertise within our company we decided to go public.
"I`m not saying we won`t have to bring in other people eventually but for the next two years our exploration programs on those prospects will be done by ourselves."
Mr O`Meara said on the day of its ASX debut late next month or early July, De Grey would be drilling at Indee.
Drilling at Horans Dam will get under way later that week while Beyondie will start within six weeks of listing.
