Also muss der passende Song her ...
Chris Rea – Winter Song
It`s a cold, cold feeling
On a real lazy wind
That blows all the way trough you
And the autumn begins
How it cuts like a sabre
How it chills to the bone
You`ve got cold feet and fingers
And you`re thinking of home
If I put my arms around you
Take <TURN> you in from the storm
From your autumn through winter
Darling I`ll keep you warm
My overcoat`s empty
Deep, wide and long
I got room for you darling
till your winter, till your winter has gone.

--------------------------GIVE TO LIVE--------------------------
Oooh--I can see that you`ve got fire in your eyes
And pain inside your heart
So many things have come and torn your world apart
Oh baby, baby, baby, don`t give up, don`t give up
don`t give up
If you want love If you want love, you`ve got to give a little
If you want love If you want faith, you just believe a little
If you want love If you want peace, turn your cheek a little
Ohhh, you`ve got to give You`ve got to give
You`ve got to give.....to live
An empty hand reaching out for someone
An empty heart takes so little to fill
It`s so much easier to push instead of pull
Oh baby, baby, baby Don`t give up, don`t give up, don`t give up
If you want love If you want love, you`ve got to give a little
If you want love If you want faith, you just believe a little
If you want love If you want peace, turn your cheek a little
Ohhh, you`ve got to give You`ve got to give
You`ve got to give....to live
Each man`s a country in his own right
Oh, every body needs a friend
One friend, one God, one country
No man need defend I believe in fate and destination
But so much of that lies in our own hands
If you know what you want, just go on out and get it
Oh baby, baby Don`t give up, don`t give up
Yeah, yeah If you want love If you want love, you`ve got to give a little
If you want love If you want faith, you just believe a little

Kristina Tuomi
Rid My Pain
(William Shakespeare Sonnet 139)
O, call not me to justify the wrong
That thy unkindness lays upon my heart;
Wound me not with thine eye but with thy tongue;
Use power with power and slay me not by art.
Tell me thou lovest elsewhere, but in my sight,
Dear heart, forbear to glance thine eye aside:
What need`st thou wound with cunning when thy might
Is more than my o`er-press`d defense can bide?
Let me excuse thee: ah! my love well knows
Her pretty looks have been mine enemies,
And therefore from my face she turns my foes,
That they elsewhere might dart their injuries:
Yet do not so; but since I am near slain,
Kill me outright with looks and rid my pain.

--------------CIRCLE OF FRIENDS--------------
Me, I`m a part of your circle of friends
and we notice you don`t come around
Me, I think it all depends
on you touching ground with us.
But, I quit. I give up.
Nothing`s good enough for anybody else
it seems.
And I quit. I give up.
Nothing`s good enough for anybody else
it seems.
And being alone
is the best way to be.
When I`m by myself it`s
the best way to be.
When I`m all alone it`s
the best way to be.
When I`m by myself
nobody else can say goodbye.
Everything is temporary anyway.
When the streets are wet --
the color slip into the sky.
But I don`t know why that means you and I are
- that means you and....
I quit -- I give up.
Nothin`s good enough for anybody else it seems.
But I quit. I give up.
Nothing`s good enough for anybody else it seems.
And being alone
is the best way to be.
When I`m by myself it`s
the best way to be.
When I`m all alone it`s

-----------------------WHAT I AM-----------------------
I`m not aware of too many things
I know what I know if you know what I mean
Philosophy is the talk on a cereal box
Religion is the smile on a dog
I`m not aware of too many things
I know what I know if you know what I mean
Choke me in the shallow water
Before I get too deep
What I am is what I am are you what you are or what?
I`m not aware of too many things
I know what I know if you know what I mean
Philosophy is a walk on slippery rocks
Religion is a light in the fog
I`m not aware of too many things
I know what I know if you know what I mean
Choke me in the shallow water
Before I get to deep
What I am is what I am are you what you are or what?
Don`t let me get too deep
Don`t let me get too deep...

-----LEFT OF CENTER-----
If you want me
You can find me
Left of center
Off of the strip
In the outskirts
In the fringes
In the corner
Out of the grip
When they ask me
" What are you looking at?"
I always answer
" Nothing much" (not much)
I think they know that
I`m looking at them
I think they think
I must be out of touch
But I`m only
In the outskirts
And in the fringes
On the edge
And off the avenue
And if you want me
You can find me
Left of center
Wondering about you
I think that somehow
Somewhere inside of us
We must be similar
If not the same
So I continue
To be wanting you
Left of center
Against the grain
If you want me
You can find me
Left of center
Off of the strip
In the outskirts
In the fringes
In the corner
Out of the grip

My name is Luka
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes I think you`ve seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble. some kind of fight
Just don`t ask me what it was
Just don`t ask me what it was
Just don`t ask me what it was
I think it`s because I`m clumsy
I try not to talk too loud
Maybe it`s because I`m crazy
I try not to act too proud
They only hit until you cry
And after that you don`t ask why
You just don`t argue anymore
You just don`t argue anymore
You just don`t argue anymore
Yes I think I`m okay
I walked into the door again
Well, if you ask that`s what I`ll say
And it`s not your business anyway
I guess I`d like to be alone
With nothing broken, nothing thrown
Just don`t ask me how I am
Just don`t ask me how I am
Just don`t ask me how I am

-----------------STAND BY YOUR MAN-----------------
Sometimes it`s hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
You`ll have bad times and he`ll have good times
Doing things that you don`t understand
But if you love him please forgive him
Even though he`s hard to understand
And if you love him, whoa be proud of him
`Cause after all he`s just man
Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When the nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man
And if you love him, whoa be proud of him
`Cause after all he`s just a man
Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When the nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man

Stand by your man
And if you love him, whoa be proud of him
`Cause after all he`s just a man
Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When the nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man

...if you do not like this song – you not like Iron Maiden. and if you don’t understand this song – you can fuck off and die… …this song is written by Mr.Harris and it’s called “The Phantom Of The Opera”…!
…nun ja, was soll ich sagen - “I like this song” und ich weiß auch worum es da geht…

---------------------------THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA---------------------------
I`ve been looking so long for you now you won`t get away from my grasp
You`ve been living so long in hiding in hiding behind that false mask
And you know and I know that you ain`t got that long to last
Your looks and your feelings are just the remains of your past
Standing in the wings there you wait for the curtain to fall
Knowing the terror and holding you have on us all
I know that you`re gonna scratch me and maim me and maul
You know I`m helpless from your mesmerising cat call
Keep your distance walk away don`t take his bait
Don`t you stray, don`t fade away
Watch your step he`s out to get you come what may
Don`t you stray from the narrow way
(2:47 – Slow Solo: Dave Murray)
(5:09 – Solo: Dave Murray)
(5:26 – Solo: Dennis Stratton)
I`m running and hiding in my dreams you`re always there
You`re the Phantom of the Opera you`re the devil you`re just out to scare
You damaged my mind and my soul it just floats through the air
You haunt me you taunt me you torture me back at your lair
This song is inspired by the 1910 classic novel of the same name by French author Gaston Leroux (1868–1927), on which the famous broadway show by Andrew Lloyd Webber is also based (go see it, it is really great). The story is basically one of love, fame and jealousy, with a gruesome character who has his lair deep under the Paris Opera House, and who perpetrates dark deeds for the love of a woman.
The Phantom, Erik, is someone whose ugliness forces him to live as a recluse away from mankind. However, his thirst for love is a strong as that of any other human being and only wants to be loved for himself. When he falls in love with Christine Daaé, a talented and beautiful young opera singer, his feelings are torn between the love he has for her and the jealousy he feels towards her fiancé, the Viscount Raoul de Chagny, and the rest of "the human race". The writing style of the novel is slightly outdated, and it is certain that, narrated by Stephen King, the novel would have been over twice as long and with more gruesome details. However, Leroux manages to captivate the reader and to unfold the story before our eyes in the most interesting manner. Those who love to read will enjoy this book.
Many films have been made about this story and the 1974 Brian De Palma film, Phantom of the Paradise is also inspired by the same story. For more information on the Phantom, check out The Phantom Of The Opera Nexus where you will find all sorts of things related to this particular topic.
In any case, this is one of Maiden`s greatest songs, and many fans` favourite of all time (next to `Hallowed Be Thy Name`). The instrumental section slowly builds from a soft and slow guitar solo into a driving rhythm which builds and builds and finally climaxes with two of the most enjoyable guitar solos ever, after which it unbuilds back the way it came. It is impossible to describe it adequately, and has to be heard to be believed. If you buy the CD only for this song, it will be well worth it.
