Ich persönlich denke, dass Hallwood und Activa ihre Kommunkationspolitik bzgl Fayetteville abgestimmt haben, ich erwarte also nicht, dass wir von Activa früher etwas hören als von Hallwood.

Hört sich alles gut an.Ich würde mich sofort anschnallen.Hier muss man vor der News dabeisein und nicht erst dann wenn jeder sie lesen kann.Inzwischen dürfte die Aktie auch ohne Fayetville nahe am inneren Wert notieren.Schliesslich ist der Gaspreis zuletzt deutlich gestiegen und damit sollten die aktuellen Erlöse über den Planzahlen liegen.Das bedeutet die Option "Fayettville" ist nahezu gratis zu haben.

Chesapeake has drilled a well (Hoofman 1-12 H, Section 12, T8N, R7W) a few miles south of the Southwestern wells, which is also off Highway 157. Chesapeake planned 3-D seismic surveys of additional areas, including areas east of the Hoofman well, to begin in late 2006 to early 2007. However, landowners recently received a letter saying that record rains had set Chesapeake’s operations behind several months. They have also decided to expand the survey area and need time to obtain permission from the newly-added areas, which moves the expected start date of the studies to winter of 2007.

Hallwood to build $5 million pipeline

Hallwood Energy of Dallas is seeing success in White County and is building a $5 million pipeline from Beebe to Floyd.
Bill Marble, vice president of land and engineering, said there have been isolated problems but the overall picture is very bright.
“Our contractors have had problems, and we don’t comment on contractor problems,” Marble said. “We have drilled a total of eight wells in Arkansas. Two are dry, three are waiting on pipelines and three are waiting on further evaluation and completion.”
As with any exploratory work, not everything has gone as planned.
“Yes, there are disappointments in Arkansas,” Marble said. “The shale is not as prolific as everyone would like, and it’s not as prevalent as everyone would like. We have had successful shale wells and successful non-shale wells.”
One Arkansas well had two productive zones, while others were not able to become commercially productive.
“We had one contractor that had up to 30 people working, and had four or five a day quit because they didn’t like working hard,” Marble said. “We are focusing right now on the acreage we have in White County.”
The basic operators in the play are Hallwood, Chesapeake, and Southwest Energy, and those companies contract with drilling companies, such as Union Drilling, for the actual work.
Marble, who has 32 years experience in the oil and gas industry and a B.S in petroleum engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, said the big news was the $5 million pipeline Hallwood is preparing to build across White County.
“We have already surveyed the right-of-way, and are building a facility north of Beebe,” Marble said. “We’re going to build a pipeline west from there, almost to Faulkner County, through Floyd.”
Construction will take nine months, Marble said, equipment is being purchased and 70,000 feet of pipe is already in inventory for the pipeline.
In White County, Hallwood has drilled four wells and two more are being drilled near Rose Bud. Two of the completed wells are commercially successful and are waiting to be hooked up to the pipeline. One well is waiting for “frac” work which is scheduled for March 26, and one is waiting on future seismic studies. In the frac work, water is used to fracture the shale so gas can be extracted. With seismic work, miles of cable are laid and vibrator trucks or small explosions send vibrations through the ground. The data is later interpreted to indicate where the shale, and thus the gas, is located.
Two of Hallwood’s wells are about two miles south of Floyd, one is near McRae, and one is in the Rose Bud/El Paso area.
Two more wellsites are being prepared for future drilling.
Hallwood has six full-time employees in White County and contracts with Union Drilling, which has set up its headquarters in the Doniphan Industrial Park in east Searcy. Impact Energy Services, a water transfer flowback company, is working with Hallwood and Chesapeake, and has also located at Doniphan.
According to their Web site, hallwoodenergy.com, Hallwood turned the Barnett Shale play in Johnson County, Texas into the “hot” spot in the play yielding “monster” wells. They drilled 85 wells and built two pipeline systems there before selling out to Chesapeake in Dec. 2004.

Für mich ist die Pipeline aber die eigentliche „Hammer News“….also, es geht was….Hallwood wird hier produzieren – und nicht verkaufen wie im Barnett Shale. Die Pipeline geht nach Nord Westen, also genau in „unsere“ Richtung!
Die spannenden Fragen: Welche zwei Löcher waren erfolgreich? Bekommt Activa am 26. März (bzw. etwas später) die Infos über Coley 1-15? Ist Estes 1-16 das Bohrloch, das auf seismic studies wartet?
Und wie sind die Ergebnisse aus John Dozier 1-22 im Lee Country?

The impact of exploration for natural gas in White County can be seen by the gas wells dotting the landscape.
There are 107 wells in the county that have been permitted by the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission. Of those, 26 are producing wells. Seven wells have been abandoned, six because they are no long producing and one temporarily abandoned. Only two “dry holes” have been drilled, one each by Stephens, Inc. and Arkana Operating Company.
Chesapeake Energy Corporation has 37 permitted wells in the county with 17 of those producing gas; SEECO also has 37 permitted wells, but with only seven producing; Hallwood Petroleum has 17 permitted wells, none of which are listed by the commission as currently producing.
A Hallwood representative said Tuesday until the company’s pipeline is completed their wells will be listed as non-producing. The company expects production to begin by June, and Hallwood will begin sending monthly reports to the state oil and gas commission at that time.
The two northernmost wells in the county are located about four and five miles northeast of Sunnydale, one near Hickory Flat and the other just west of Denmark. There are 10 wells are east of Pangburn on both sides of the Little Red River. The nearest of these to Pangburn is on Hwy. 124 just south of Ramsey’s Landing.
“This data tells me that White County has a high level of interest from natural gas exploration companies,” said John Thaeler, senior vice president of Southwestern Energy. “This area has seen a lot of activity with competition from some of the larger exploration companies. I think you will continue to see exploration in some of the unexplored areas of White County as the year goes along.”
The county’s largest field of wells is loosely centered on Hwy. 16, with 34 wells dotting the landscape from north of Crook Road to Searcy on both sides of the highway. Of those, eight are not far from Letona, north of the intersection of Hwy. 305 and Hwy. 16, and one is nearer to Clay. One well is between Bluff Hole and Hwy. 16. Three wells are in or very near Albion, two are near Panther Creek and two are near Sunny Hill. Nine wells are between Hwy. 16 and the Little Red River. Seven wells are west of Hwy. 16 between Hwy. 310 and Four Mile Hill.
Two wells are between the Little Red River and Hwy. 157, north of Searcy.
Near Rose Bud, close to the Cleburne County line in the northeast part of White County, there are 20 wells.
Two wells are on the west side of Hwy. 5 between Rose Bud and El Paso and four are on the southwest side of Hwy. 31 near Floyd. One well is near the intersection of Romance Road and Langley Road and one is south of Hwy. 36 west of Searcy, just outside the city limits.
Near McRae, between Hwy. 67 and Hwy. 267, four wells are within a short space of each other, while one well is just south of McRae. Garner’s only well is close to Hwy. 67, and Griffithville’s only well is just south of that town.
In the east part of the county, two wells are just outside the Bald Knob city limits on the east side of town and two wells are between Bald Knob and the White River, south of Hwy. 64.
Hundreds of wells have been permitted in nearby counties on a line due west from Letona to western Conway County, stretching into southern Van Buren and Cleburne counties and northern Faulkner County.

heute morgen: einer verkauft bei 12,05 1100 stck. ins bid zu 12. das ask stand vorher mit 900 stck. bei 12,05.
und was passiert?
der skontroführer taxt das ask hoch auf 12,15!
wie heißt es so schön bei med. mar.: "ich bin doch nicht blöd"
klar, dafür kann man wieder tausend begründungen finden, um es schönzureden. tatsache ist: das ist ein skurriler, abgefahrener und verzerrter handel bei activa.

wir sind uns alle einig über die guten fundamentals, aber auf der anderen seite ist unser investment auch mit gewissen risiken behaftet:
Branche: Öl-und Gasexploration; selbst wenn man schon produziert ein hoch riskantes Geschäft. Findet man nix oder kann es nicht wirtschaftlich fördern, fressen die Explorationskosten locker die Erlöse aus den fördernden Quellen auf.
Finanzierungsrisiko: was nützen die schönsten Ressourcen, wenn man keine Kohle mehr hat sie zu entwickeln? Gut, man mag jemanden finden, der die Finanzierung übernimmt, aber der hält dann die Hand auf und stiehlt quasi den Altaktionären etwas (oder alles?)vom Kurspotential weg.
Liquidität der Aktie: falls es mal nicht so gut läuft mit den Fundamentaldaten/News, kommt man wohl bei dem dünnen Handel auch nicht mehr mit einem blauen Auge raus, sondern holt sich gleich richtig Dresche ab.
Also an alle, die noch drin sind und denen das zu heiss ist: GEHT RAUS UND LASST MICH NOCHMAL SCHÖN ZUGREIFEN!!!!

Finanzierungsrisiko: was nützen die schönsten Ressourcen, wenn man keine Kohle mehr hat sie zu entwickeln? Gut, man mag jemanden finden, der die Finanzierung übernimmt, aber der hält dann die Hand auf und stiehlt quasi den Altaktionären etwas (oder alles?)vom Kurspotential weg.
Liquidität der Aktie: falls es mal nicht so gut läuft mit den Fundamentaldaten/News, kommt man wohl bei dem dünnen Handel auch nicht mehr mit einem blauen Auge raus, sondern holt sich gleich richtig Dresche ab.
