The General Index of stock-market of Values of Lima closed today in 15.461, 87 points, after registering a 2.39% ascent, in a session in which 1.118.548.125 new suns (about 391.169.129 dollars or 265.814.668 Euros) in 1.568 operations negotiated.

They quoted action of 81 companies, of which 45 raised, 12 lowered and 24 stayed stable.

The actions that raised more were Agro-industrys San common Jacinto (15.24%), Andean of common common Explorations (13.51%), Maple Energy (7.43%), Atacocha Miner common class B (6.54%) and Agro-industrial Great House common (6.34%).

They lowered those of Corporation Cervesur common (- 8.18%), Panoro Minerals common (- 4.35%), Electronorte common (- 2.22%), Fortune Silver Mines common (- 2.0%) and Agro-industrial Pucalá common (- 1.64%).

Stock-market of Lima culminated the last session of the week with positive indicators, impelled by the majors gains of mining and industrial actions in the middle of the expectations before the publication of the reports of utilities of the companies to the third trimester of the year.

In the day, the Limean place registered the greater volume of businesses in which it goes of the year, due to purchases of important lots of action of the generating company of Edegel energy.

With these results, stock-market Peruvian registered in the week an accumulated gain of 5.35%, supported by the rise of the international prices of metals and by the optimism on the recovery of the American economy.

Heute wieder ein schönes Plus(10%) drüben. Auch der Jahreschart zeigt einen stabilen Aufwärtstrend.

Fortuna Options Tlacolula Silver Project in Mexico from Radius Gold Inc.

Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (TSX.V: FVI / Lima Exchange: FVI) - The Company is pleased to announce that it has been granted the option to acquire a 60% interest in the Tlacolula silver project in Oaxaca, Mexico from Radius Gold Inc. ("Radius"). Fortuna can earn the interest by spending US$2 million, which includes a commitment to drill 1,500 meters within 3 years, and making staged annual payments of US$250,000 cash and US$250,000 in common stock to Radius according to the following schedule:

- $20,000 cash and $20,000 cash equivalent in shares upon signing.
- $30,000 cash and $30,000 cash equivalent in shares by the first year
anniversary.
- $50,000 cash and $50,000 cash equivalent in shares by the second year
anniversary.
- $50,000 cash and $50,000 cash equivalent in shares by the third year
anniversary.
- $100,000 cash and $100,000 cash equivalent in shares by the fourth
year anniversary.


The 12,000 ha Tlacolula property is located 14km E-SE of the city of Oaxaca, 20km north of the Taviche District, where high-grade silver has been mined since Spanish colonial times, and is 30km northeast of Fortuna's 100% owned San Jose silver-gold development project.

Fortuna Silver steigert Silberproduktion um 174 Prozent


Die in Vancouver ansässige Fortuna Silver (WKN A0ETVA ) hat in den ersten drei Monaten 2009 384.339 Unzen Silber produziert – so viel wie noch nie in der Geschichte des Unternehmens und eine Steigerung von 174 Prozent gegenüber dem ersten Quartal 2008.

Zudem konnte Fortuna im ersten Quartal 6,9 Millionen Pfund Zink und 5,8 Millionen Pfund Blei aus der Mine des Unternehmens in Peru gewinnen. Der Zink- und Bleiausstoß lag damit 52 bzw. 123 Prozent höher als im gleichen Zeitraum des Vorjahres und der höchste Silbergehalt lag mit 147,8 g/t 98 Prozent über dem Vorjahreswert.

Fortuna plant, 2009 rund 1,6 Millionen Unzen reines Silber zu produzieren, was rund die Hälfte der Umsätze darstellen sollte, während der Rest auf Blei, Zink und Kupfer entfällt. Das Unternehmen geht davon aus, dass sich durch das Anlaufen der Kupferproduktion sowie einer Ausweitung der bestehenden Anlagen der Umsatz verbessern wird.
