TO FILE COURT DOCUMENTS "WITHIN 48
HOURS," ISSUES NEW PRESS RELEASE
Las Vegas Casino, Inc. issues new press release with
regard to Starnet Communications International Inc. and
confirms forthcoming legal action "within 48 hours"
Las Vegas Casino, Inc. issued a press release dated 27 July, 1999 via
PRnewswire to the effect that it is to sue Starnet Communications
International (OTC Bulletin Board: SNMM) ("Starnet" and its wholly owned
subsidiary, Softec Systems Caribbean, Inc., claiming damages for a
substantial number of material breaches of agreement, for a sum of $1 billion
dollars.
On issue of the press release, shares in Starnet suffered heavy selling with
tens of millions of dollars being wiped off the value of its shares in a matter of
minutes.
Subsequently, PRnewswire pulled Las Vegas Casino`s press release from its
database when it was explained by e-mail that:
"We only send releases about lawsuits that have been filed. Once you
do so, we will reissue the information to the media, but we only issue
releases about lawsuits after they have been filed, not before."
This is the reason why this important press release has been temporarily
removed from circulation. However, lawyers in Vancouver acting for Las
Vegas Casino, Inc. need several more days to study all the detailed and
comprehensive data that has already been supplied them, and to prepare the
necessary documentation. As soon as this is completed, further press
releases from Las Vegas Casino, Inc. will follow, for distribution to the world`s
media. Las Vegas Casino, Inc. fully intends to seek maximum exposure and
publicity for this case in order that the facts can openly and demonstrably be
proved in a court of law, and which is then expected to result in appropriate
redress for Las Vegas Casino, Inc.
Starnet also issued a further press release on July 27, via PRnewswire, in
which it gave details of the termination of its software license agreement
with Las Vegas Casino for non-payment of certain licensing fees. A
spokesman for Las Vegas Casino has described this act as "totally abusive,"
as the act of termination had been previously accompanied by the demand
for a manifestly and wholly inaccurate sum.
Furthermore, the allusion to an article published on the RGT Online site refers
to several companies including Handa Lopez, Inc. ("HLI", CasinoSoft.com,
Funscape.com, Scylinx Corporation and others whose operations have been
detailed in a number of articles published by GamblingMagazine.com, notably:
http://www.gamblingmagazine.com/articles/34/34-15.htm
http://www.gamblingmagazine.com/articles/34/34-06.htm
http://www.gamblingmagazine.com/articles/34/34-04.htm
One article details the investigations of an Australian journalist who
uncovered "a worldwide network of online scams netting hundreds of millions
of dollars a year" and "a web of deceit across four countries involving false
addresses and dodgy gambling ventures."
Indeed, it was the evidence of fraud on a massive scale which first prompted
Las Vegas Casino`s management to sever all relations with HLI, a decision
that was to be pertinently and clearly vindicated when it was later revealed
that the company was shut down by police in Vancouver, California and
Australia, their management arrested, and all their servers seized.
Las Vegas Casino, Inc. has now stated that all supporting legal documents
will be filed with the court "in the next 48 hours" or "just as soon as the
lawyers have them ready."
Further press releases will follow. Gambling Magazine will continue to
publish the full facts.
Very interesting e-mail from Starnet:
"If I could I`d fire them all and start over"
Starnet must have some huge problems if all the staff should be fired,
according to Jack Carley, the top man in the company. If the company was
the best, as they claim, they would not need to fire the whole lot!

Claude. We have made a few more internal changes and are actively
searching for personnel to improve our system administrative function. We will
hire as soon as we find them and rid ourselves of the more inexperienced
staff. The key is finding good people and frankly they are far and few
between. If I could I`d fire them all and start over however we all have too
much at stake to come to a dead stop for any length of time. We have 12
programers and 6 systems admin people on staff and you`d think that would
be enough. In any event the details of this week-ends problems are being
reviewed and addressed
Interesting article that confirms that they are very shady people working with
and inside Starnet. What about their lies concerning the Nevada Gaming
Control Board. By the way, Mitchell White is a well known drug addict, and
the son in law of Jack Carley. Nice family! Until a few months ago, Mitchell
White was the top man at Starnet, a drug addict!

STARNET SUED FOR
ONE BILLION DOLLARS
Las Vegas Casino, Inc., an Internet-based online casino company that is Starnet`s
biggest licensee for its `turnkey` casino games, is suing Starnet Communications
International, Inc. for $1 billion.
Starnet Communications International Inc. (OTC BB:SNMM) has a wholly owned
subsidiary, Softec Systems Caribbean, Inc. which is also being sued. Starnet is also
listed on the Berlin Stock Exchange on Over-The-Counter market under the symbol SNM.
Las Vegas Casino, Inc. is claiming damages for a very substantial number of breaches of
agreement. According to a company spokesman from Las Vegas Casino, Inc., Starnet
has too many grave irregularities in their accounting systems, too many serious bugs in
their software, their technical and e-cash support is extremely deficient, with very serious
problems such as massive over billing of credit card accounts.
Starnet is also refusing to supply the proper accounting records they must supply under
the license agreement. The auditors simply cannot do their work in these deplorable
conditions. Las Vegas Casino, Inc. has received thousands of complaints from its clients,
saying that Starnet`s software and the company itself, and its subsidiaries were the worst
they have ever known.
Starnet is fully controlling the client’s accounts and the balances of all these accounts as
they process all the cash transactions on behalf of Las Vegas Casino Inc. through their
subsidiary EFS Caribbean. Starnet is the only one who have access to the systems. All
the clients are invited to contact directly Jack Carley on 1 (604) 685 7619
Starnet`s highest management has admitted in writing that these problems were real, and
this evidence of numerous admissions will be presented to the courts as early as next
week.
Company Press Release
LAS VEGAS CASINO INC.
Many readers asked who was H.L.I., the name that Starnet used as a reference in their
misleading and fraudulent e-mail they send out to thousands of clients. HLI is probably
Starnet’s only friend in the industry, this company was shut down by the police in
Vancouver, California and Australia. The management was arrested and all their servers
seized. They have been down for approximately three months. Read our coverage of this
scandal at:

Frage: Warum wohl 48 Stunden ????

Internet Stock News Announces Investment Opinion on Starnet Communications
SAN DIEGO, Jul 28, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) -- Internet Stock News(TM), one of the Web`s leading free destinations for Internet Stock
investors, announced today that it had published an update regarding Starnet Communications International (OTCBB: SNMM).
The update was sent to over 90,000 Internet stock analysts, brokers and individual investors after market close on Tuesday, July 27, 1999 and follows
below:
As if the wild gyrations of Internet stocks were not enough, many investors panicked today on news of a $1 billion lawsuit against Starnet
Communications (SNMM). The news was generated in the form of a press release issued by a company called Las Vegas Casino inc., claiming to be a
licensee of Starnet`s wholly owned subsidiary, Softec Systems Caribbean Inc.
Las Vegas Casino claimed damages from what they called "a very substantial number of breaches of agreement" including "grave irregularities in their
accounting systems, too many serious bugs in their software; their technical and e-cash support is extremely deficient, with very serious problems such
as massive over-billing of credit card accounts."
As might be expected, the price of Starnet shares plunged, going from the day`s high of 22 11/16 to 10 in a matter of minutes after the release.
Hopefully, ISN readers were not among those unlucky enough to have sold their shares at $10!
Shortly after, Starnet issued a press release denying it was in receipt of a lawsuit. Starnet shares rocketed to near $16 before finally closing the day at
14 7/16.
The price action was so astounding, the well-respected CBS Marketwatch reported on the bogus lawsuit as well:
After the market closed, Starnet Communications revealed that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Softec Systems Caribbean Inc., had indeed licensed
software to Las Vegas Casino but the agreement had been terminated on July 23, 1999 due to non payment of approximately $203,000 for monthly
licensing fees and had commenced collection proceedings against Las Vegas Casino inc.
A recent article published on RGTonline entitled "Who`s on First" (see:www.rgtonline.com/newspage/artlisting.cfm/2773), noted this was not the first time
a gaming software provider has encountered payment problems with the operators of Las Vegas Casino inc.
It is the opinion of Internet Stock News(TM) that the charges made by Las Vegas Casino are malicious and made out of spite because their license has
been cancelled. Regarding the specific claims that the software is faulty, it seems difficult to believe that Softec`s 45 other licensees would currently have
22 casinos operating successfully if it was flawed as Las Vegas Casino`s claims.
We cannot tell you how to invest, as everyone must make their own decisions. However, we have increased our ownership of Starnet by purchasing
shares on the open market.
Watch for Starnet`s Earnings Announcement after the bell this Thursday!
Sincerely,
ISN

Hallo Leute,

"Subsequently, PRnewswire pulled Las Vegas Casino`s press release from its
database when it was explained by e-mail...."

Also, was bleibt übrig ?
