INTAC International verbessert operatives Ergebnis und führt Wachstumskurs in
2003 fort

Hong Kong, 30. März 2004 - INTAC International, Inc. (Nasdaq: INTN - News; FSE:
WKN 805768), ein Content Provider in China, der über sein Internet Portal und in
Zusammenarbeit mit dem Bildungsministerium der Volksrepublik China exklusiv
eine umfassende Palette von Dienstleistungen anbietet, die chinesischen
Studenten bei der Karriereplanung unterstützen, hat heute seine Zahlen für das
zum 31. Dezember 2003 abgelaufene Geschäftsjahr bekannt gegeben

Der Umsatz im abgelaufenen Geschäftsjahr 2003 stieg im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um
US$ 6,6 Mio. bzw. 7,7% auf insgesamt US$ 91,4 Mio. (Vj. US$ 84,8). Das
Bruttoergebnis vom Umsatz stieg um US$ 1,8 Mio. auf US$ 3,5 Mio. (Vj. US$ 1,7
Mio.). Die Bruttomarge stieg um 1,8% auf 3,8% (Vj. 2,0%).

Der operative Verlust zum 31. Dezember 2003 betrug US$ 282.797 (US$ 0,01 pro
Aktie) im Vergleich zu einem operativen Verlust in Höhe von US$ 1 Mio. (US$ 0,05
pro Aktie) zum Geschäftsjahresende 2002. Der Jahresfehlbetrag zum 31. Dezember
2003 lag bei US$ 239.196 (US$ 0,01 pro Aktie) gegenüber einem Jahresfehlbetrag
in Höhe von US$ 776.755 (US$ 0,04 pro Aktie) im Geschäftsjahr 2002.

Der Umsatz konnte trotz der negativen Auswirkungen des SARS-Virus im asiatisch-
pazifischen Raum im ersten Halbjahr 2003 und der zunehmenden Stärke des Euro, zu
dem ein Großteil der Waren eingekauft wurde, gesteigert werden.

Die Hauptgründe für den operativen Verlust und den Jahresfehlbetrag sind auf die
Start-Up Kosten im Zusammenhang mit unserem Internetportal, Einmalgebühren für
das Listing an der Nasdaq und einmalige Werbungs- und Entwicklungskosten
zurückzuführen. Unser operativer Verlust im Geschäftsjahr 2003 beinhaltet Kosten
von rund US$ 132.000 für das Internetportal, rund US$ 59.000 für das Nasdaq-
Listing und rund US$ 69.000 für Werbungs- und Entwicklungskosten.

und der strategischen Zusammenarbeit mit dem chinesischen Bildungsministerium

dass wir unser Internetportal im April starten werden und rechnen mit einem
positiven Einfluss auf unsere Geschäftsentwicklung in 2004."
