Frontier Oil and Gas Announces Company Name Change to Alaska Oil and Gas Ltd.

Adopts Alaska Oil and Gas Ltd. as New Company Name -- New Trading Symbol and Website, to be announced

HOUSTON, Nov 02, 2004 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Frontier Oil and Gas (Pink Sheets:FOGL) announced today it has changed the company`s name to Alaska Oil and Gas Ltd. reflecting the company`s Alaskan project and `New Frontier` attitude toward exploration and the company`s recent expanded capabilities. The company also reported that its new trading symbol will be effective after the official name change. A new website will also be launched under the Alaska Oil and Gas Ltd.

Alaska Oil and Gas Ltd. intends to become a worldwide company specializing in the extraction and production of oil and gas in partnership with Fowler Oil & Gas through both owned and leased properties within the Cook Inlet oil basin of Alaska. Fowler Oil & Gas is looking to develop both oil and natural gas reserves located in the Cook Inlet oil basin in Alaska. Current Gas Reserve is a fully documented reserve with an estimated 1.9 trillion cubic feet in the Cook Inlet Basin. Cook Inlet basin, located in south-central Alaska where the Fowler property is located, is approximately 250 miles from north to south and 70 miles wide. The basin contains coal deposits within the Tertiary Tyonek Formation across its entire extent and within the Chickaloon Formation at its northeast corner. These coals are part of an extensive continental depositional system in the Tertiary that exceeds 26,000 feet in thickness at the basin center. Tyonek coals beds are abundant and continuous, exceeding 40 feet in thickness.

The device`s response time is 15 minutes, which management believes is fast enough to help prevent widespread contamination and save lives.

"Quantum Automation has active presence in the South East Asian market and possesses an experienced team of experts in design, installation, and maintenance of building control systems," said Universal Detection`s new head of Strategic Development Mr. Nima Montazeri. "We intend to utilize Quantum Automation`s strength and market presence to launch an aggressive campaign to place UDTT`s detector units in government and private buildings in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. According to the terms of the deal Quantum Automation will purchase one of UDTT`s anthrax detectors for demonstration and training purposes.

UDTT recently issued a press release announcing that it has installed an Anthrax Smoke Detector (ASD) unit at a major hotel in Orange County, CA. Jacques Tizabi, UDTT chairman and CEO, stated "The installation of UDTT`s Anthrax Smoke Detector at a large scale hotel with huge traffic is a major milestone in our marketing efforts which we initially have targeted to larger venues."
