Plexmar Resources Inc.: Metallurgical results
Tuesday July 19, 8:31 am ET
QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - July 19, 2005) - Plexmar Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PLE - News), has received the first results from metallurgical tests carried out on gold and silver bearing material from its Bolsa del Diablo property located in Northern Peru.
Exploratory tests were carried out to evaluate the behavior of this ore to cyanidation and its possible operating parameters, like gold and silver recoveries, cyanide and lime consumption and time of residence.
Tests were performed at CIMM PERU INC., a lab with international certification.
A 70 kg sample of tailings from am amalgam of oxidized gold ore coming from the Bolsa del Diablo property was tested. The material was taken from different pits after local miners extracted gold using `quimbaletes` to crush the ore and amalgamating gold with mercury. The head grade was 37.4 g/t Au, 60 g/t Ag, 273 ppm of Hg and 0.3% As.
Currently, local miners are extracting ore grading as high as 150 grams of gold par latta. (33 lattas equals 1 ton), so 4,950 g/ton or 149 ounces of gold per ton.
The cyanidation tests of soluble gold and CIL were carried out with regrinding to 93% -200 mesh (74 microns), approximately 100% -100 mesh to a ph of 10.5 and with an average of 1,500 ppm of cyanide in pulp of 30% of solids; for 60 hours of agitation.
Recommendations and Comments:
It is possible to recover more than the 83% of the gold and
31.6% of the silver with direct cyanidation, CIL, with an
agitation time of 60 hours from an amalgam of tailings from
Bolsa del Diablo.
Better gold and silver recoveries could be obtained by
increasing the agitation time and the degree of grinding. It is
recommended to continue the tests to tune up these parameters in
order to reach a minimum 90% recovery for gold.
Despite the Arsenic content, the cyanide consumption is
relatively low: less than 2Kg/Ton of ore, the lime consumption
(85% useful lime) is also low, less than 2 Kg per ton of ore.
It is recommended to carry out a petrography study to determine
the minerals associated with the gold and silver. This would
give more information to improve the processing and the recovery
of values.
The CIL or CIP process, with coal activated in pulp would be the
most adequate, since a very good kinetic extraction is observed
the first 24 hours, diminishing drastically in the following
hours presenting an pre-rubbing effect.
It is finally recommended to complete metallurgical tests with
representative samples of fresh ore.
Plexmar`s management is quite happy with these results as it indicates that the ore could be processed in a very cost efficient way. Tests will be carried out with fresh rock as soon as possible.
It is Plexmar`s intent to install a processing plant in the area to quickly generate a cash flow in order to fund its exploration program. Please refer to March 29, 2005 press release.

Plexmar Resources Inc.: Field Work Update
Tuesday February 14, 9:51 am ET
QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 14, 2006) - Plexmar Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PLE - News), wishes to inform its shareholders that field work is progressing on its Bolsa del Diablo property.

Mapping, sampling and trenching is currently on-going. Over 100 samples are currently being assayed at ALS Chemex Laboratories in Lima. Results will be released very shortly.
Detailed sampling and mapping is currently taking place on a scale of 1:2000 over an area covering over at least 4 km2 which is characterized by low to intense silica and clay hydrothermal alteration. Once the alteration area is clearly defined, a ground geophysics test will be carried out to verify the response to gold mineralization and anomalies will be drilled.
Grab, chip and channel samples were taken in pits, trenches in vein type material, intrusive and volcanic rocks over a large area. All artisan workings are being mapped and sampled. Native gold has been spotted in numerous samples.
On the Angolos and Molinetes concessions, veins being mined by artisan miners are ranging from 0.10m to 3.0m in width with a 5 to 10 meters spacing. The trenches and pits are as deep as 40 metres in some areas. Heavily altered and fractured stockwork, grading up to 2 g/t Au, is present between the veins. The workings actually cover an area of 4km2 on the Angolos and Molinetes concessions and are presently expanding on Plexmar 100% owned adjacent concessions.
According to geologists, in one area covering over 115,000 sq.m, some 150 artisan pits are dug so close together that a resource calculation could be done after receiving assays and evaluating grade and vein continuity.
Plexmar controls over 220 km2 of land in Northern Peru near the border with Ecuador. Over 400 artisan miners are pulling gold on a daily basis from trenches or pits located on Plexmar`s properties. Most of the miners are located on the Angolos and Molinetes concessions which are both under 100% earn-in options. Artisan workings are now found on adjacent 100% owned properties.
In 2005, sixty four rock samples were collected over a length of 2km, including chip, channel, grab rock samples from outcrop as well as dump samples from artisan workings. Three mineralization styles were sampled: 1) quartz veins from artisan workings, 2) argillically altered dacite with minor quartz veining, and 3) highly silicified unaltered dacite. Gold values ranged from background to 119 g/t gold. The high value was from a selected grab sample of quartz vein material taken at the dump of an artisan working. Argillically altered dacite returned assay values typically under 2 g/t gold, and represent a low grade high tonnage potential in the area.

Plexmar Inc.: Sampling Returns Up to 304 g/t Au Over 2 M
Thursday March 2, 2:46 pm ET
QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 2, 2006) - Plexmar Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PLE - News), announces that recent sampling on the Bolsa del Diablo property returned gold values of up to 304 g/t Au in a 2m vein channel sample and up to 23.2 g/t Au in altered volcanic rocks.
"The high gold values in the veins are interesting but the gold values in the altered volcanic rocks indicate the potential to find a large tonnage low grade deposit." says Guy Bedard, president
Geologists believe that a structural corridor oriented NE-SW runs across the project is associated with the gold values. This corridor contains three types of gold mineralization, vein type, and two main types of volcanic alterations, highly silicified stockwork possibly representing silica caps and highly argillic alterations with limonite.
VEINS
Channel samples with values of up to 304 g/t Au were taken in veins from 6 pits excavated by local miners. The pits are contained within an area measuring 115,000 sq.m. where hundreds of pits are present. The 6 pits sampled have an average depth of 19 meters and a total of 52 channel samples were taken every 2 vertical meters. Values range from 0.28 g/t up to 304 g/t with an average value of 3.81 g/t Au.(after removing the 304 g/t sample)
92 channel samples were taken from other veins, distributed over an area of 2 km x 6 km, returned values ranging from 0.0023 to 40.2 g/t Au with an average of 6.31 g/t Au. The veins range from 0.10m to 3.0m in width.
VOLCANIC ROCKS
20 samples of highly silicified stockwork and argillically altered with limonite volcanic rock showing silica and disseminated sulphides were taken. Values range from background to 23.5 g/t Au (in silicified stockwork) with an average of 2.23 g/t Au. Theses samples were taken within an area covering 5 Km x 2 Km.
Geologists believe they have defined an area of highly silicified stockwork volcanics, possibly indicating a silica cap measuring 0.5 km x 0.6 km located in the Northeast corner of the Angolos concession. Samples were taken and results are pending.
These results show that gold occurs in three types of emplacement mechanism within the inferred structural corridor. The relationship between these types of mineralization and spatial occurrences have not yet been defined. However, they indicate the potential for a large mineralizing event that could lead to the discovery of a large tonnage low grade deposit.
Exploration work will now focus on the highly altered volcanic rocks recognized within an area measuring 6km x 2km. Systematic sampling, mapping and trenching will be carried out.
Results from 120 samples, mostly taken from volcanic rocks, are pending and will be released as soon as available. Detailed maps are being prepared and will be posted on the Company`s website after data compilation and interpretation.
All samples are analyzed by ALS Chemex in Lima. Martin St-Pierre acted as the QP for the preparation of this news release.

Plexmar is particularly pleased with high gold values found in the altered
intrusive rocks and believes this supports the theory that the Bolsa del Diablo
project contains an extensive gold bearing alteration system affecting both
volcanic and intrusive rocks.
There are over 120 samples presently being assayed at the lab. Most were taken
in the altered intrusive and volcanic rocks in areas where the best grades were
reported. Results will be released as soon as possible.
All the above results can be viewed at www.plexmar.com under the Bolsa del
Diablo project. Maps have been uploaded on the site and show the extensive area
covered by the gold mineralization.
All samples are analyzed by ALS Chemex in Lima. Martin St-Pierre acted as the
QP for the preparation of this news release.
