Global Traffic Network, Inc. (Nasdaq:GNET), a leading provider of custom traffic and news reports to radio and television stations outside the U.S., today announced results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007, its first quarter of fiscal 2008.

The Company reported fiscal first quarter revenues of $11.0 million, an increase of 80% over revenues of $6.1 million in the year ago period. Revenues from the Company's Australian operations increased 80% over the first quarter of fiscal 2007 to $9.9 million, and revenues from the Company's Canadian operations were $1.1 million, an increase of 80% compared to the year-ago period.

Adjusted Operating Income for the three-month period ended September 30, 2007 increased to $0.6 million from an Adjusted Operating Loss of $0.7 million for three-months ended September 30, 2006, an increase of $1.3 million. The Company defines Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) as operating income (loss) plus depreciation and amortization expense.

Net loss for the first quarter of fiscal 2008 was ($89,000), compared to a net loss of ($0.8) million in the same period of fiscal 2007, an improvement of $0.7 million.

Commenting on the results, William L. Yde III, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Traffic Network, said, "We achieved record revenues once again in our Australian and Canadian markets, as the demand for our advertising availabilities remained strong. We also continue to see demand for our products and services from radio and television stations. For example, we have recently begun providing traffic reporting services to the Astral stations in Montreal. The addition of these highly rated stations significantly strengthens both our reach in the local market and our national reach throughout Canada, in addition to increasing the commercial inventory that we have available for sale."

"Following the end of the quarter, we reached another significant milestone with the initiation of service in the United Kingdom. In October, we began to provide traffic reports to our first UK-based radio station and we have contracted with a related station in the area to provide our services in the future. We are encouraged with the direction in which our UK business is headed, and look forward to replicating in the United Kingdom the business model that has proven successful in Australia and Canada."

He concluded, "We remain confident in our business model and are pleased with the success it has brought us thus far. We believe that there is ample opportunity for us to continue to grow in markets across the globe as we leverage our experience and industry knowledge to further enhance our business."

SUPPLEMENTAL DISCLOSURES REGARDING NON-GAAP FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Global Traffic Network, Inc. defines Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) as net operating income (loss) adjusted to exclude depreciation and amortization expense. The Company uses Adjusted Operating Income (Loss), among other things, to evaluate its operating performance. The Company believes the presentation of this measure is relevant and useful for investors because it improves their ability to understand the Company's operating performance and makes it easier to compare the Company's results with other companies that have different financing and capital structures or tax rates. In addition, the Company believes this measure is among the measures used by investors, analysts and peers in the media industry for purposes of evaluation and comparing its operating performance to other companies.

Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) is not a measure of performance calculated in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP") and it should not be considered in isolation of, or as a substitute for, net operating income (loss) as an indicator of operating performance. Because Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) excludes certain financial information compared with net operating income (loss), the most directly comparable GAAP financial measure, users of this financial information should consider the types of events and transactions which are excluded. Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) may not be comparable to measures of adjusted operating income, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), operating cash flow or similarly titled measures employed by other companies. In addition, this measure is not necessarily a measure of the Company's ability to fund its cash needs.

The following presents the reconciliation of net operating income (loss) to Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) for the three months ended September 30, 2007 and 2006.

Global Traffic Network, Inc. Reports Fiscal Second Quarter 2008 Operating Results
Record net income of $1.1 million for fiscal second quarter 2008

Revenue up 61% from previous fiscal second quarter

NEW YORK, Feb 12, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Global Traffic Network, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNET), a leading provider of custom traffic and news reports to radio and television stations outside the U.S., today announced its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, its second quarter of fiscal 2008.

Revenue for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 increased 61 percent to $13.2 million, from $8.2 million in the same period a year ago. The increase in revenue is attributable to an increase of $4.0 million from the Company's Australian operations, which came primarily from its network of radio station affiliates, and an increase of $1.0 million from its Canadian operations.

Adjusted Operating Income for the three-month period ended December 31, 2007 tripled to $2.1 million from an Adjusted Operating Income of $0.7 million for three-months ended December 31, 2006, an increase of $1.4 million. The Company defines Adjusted Operating Income as operating income plus depreciation and amortization expense.

For the three months ended December 31, 2007, the Company recorded net income of $1.1 million compared to $44,000 for the year ago period. The increase is attributable to the Company's Australian operations, which increased $1.25 million to $2.4 million for the quarter.

Revenue for the six month period ended December 31, 2007, was $24.1 million compared to $14.3 million for the six month period ended December 31, 2006, an increase of 69 percent. The increase in revenue for the period is primarily attributable to an $8.4 million increase in the Company's Australian operations and an increase of $1.4 million in its Canadian operations.

Adjusted Operating Income for the six-month period ended December 31, 2007 was $2.7 million, compared to break-even in the first half of fiscal 2007.

For the six-month period, the Company reported net income of $1.0 million, compared to a loss of $0.8 million in the year ago period. The increase in income for the period is attributable to the Australian Traffic Network's operations, which increased from $2.7 million to $3.9 million.

Commenting on the quarter, William L. Yde III, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Global Traffic Network, said, "This has been our most successful quarter as a public company to date, and we are extremely pleased with both our top and bottom line results. This quarter saw tremendous growth on a year over year basis, indicative of the continued progress we are making in both Australia and Canada. This speaks to the quality of the radio and television reports that we provide our clients, as well as the ability of our sales staff to forge relationships and find the proper streams through which to divest our advertising inventory."

"Now that we have fully established ourselves in the Australian and Canadian markets, and established the foundation to launch our service in the United Kingdom, we are confident in our ability to continue to grow at a rapid pace," concluded Mr. Yde.

SUPPLEMENTAL DISCLOSURES REGARDING NON-GAAP FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Global Traffic Network, Inc. defines Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) as net operating income (loss) adjusted to exclude depreciation and amortization expense. The Company uses Adjusted Operating Income (Loss), among other things, to evaluate its operating performance. The Company believes the presentation of this measure is relevant and useful for investors because it helps improve their ability to understand the Company's operating performance and makes it easier to compare the Company's results with other companies that have different financing and capital structures or tax rates.

In addition, Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) may not be comparable to measures of adjusted operating income, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), operating cash flow or similarly titled measures employed by other companies. In addition, this measure is not necessarily a measure of the Company's ability to fund its cash needs.

The following presents the reconciliation of net operating income (loss) to Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) for the three and six month periods ended December 31, 2007 and 2006. .......................................................................................

Thursday April 3, 8:00 am ET Donnerstag 3. April, 8.00 Uhr ET

      NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)

-- Global Traffic Network, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNET - News ) , a leading provider of custom traffic and news reports to radio and television stations outside the US, announced that it is expanding its technology and broadcast capabilities to enable its product and service offerings to reach the growing population of mobile phone consumers worldwide.

      NEW YORK - (BUSINESS WIRE)

Global Traffic Network is developing the Mobile Traffic Network Broadcast Platform and has filed for patent protection both domestically and internationally. The platform includes passive alerting capability, initially targeted for traffic, but having much broader applicability.

The GTN system will push traffic information, emergency alerts and other audio messages to the consumer passively without any interaction with the phone required from the consumer.

The technology generates information reports that reach the phone as an audio message that automatically starts speaking to the consumer (much like a ringtone) when information pertinent to that driver becomes important.

This eliminates the need for a driver to read a text message, pre-plan or check a route before driving, or to touch or otherwise interact with the phone to obtain information.

Drivers can simply leave home and rely on their phones to notify them automatically of any pertinent information before the driver reaches a traffic problem.

Currently, all messaging delivered to handsets are sent to the phone in a manner that requires the consumer to interact with the phone to get review messages.

This system changes the paradigm of how critical informational messages, such as traffic, E-911, weather, etc. are transmitted to consumer via mobile phones.

“ This is a completely new way to communicate traffic information and other alerts to the consumer. "Dies ist eine völlig neue Art und Weise zu kommunizieren,

Verkehrsinformationen und andere Schlagzeilen für die Verbraucher.

We anticipate that the Mobile Traffic Network Broadcast Platform will not only generate new revenue sources for our traffic broadcast business but from licensing the technology into other market segments ” , said Bill Yde, CEO of Global Traffic Network.

The technology will support any speaker enabled phone that supports JAVA, Brew, Symbian, Windows or Linux.

Die Technologie unterstützt alle Redner, dass fähiges Handy unterstützt JAVA, Brew, Symbian, Windows-oder Linux.

Currently the technology is compatible with approximately 96 % of all mobile phones worldwide.

George Ranallo, CEO of Summit Mobile and former Director of Consumer Application Development at Sprint, has been contracted to spearhead product development of the Mobile Traffic Network Broadcast Platform in the US, Canada, Australia and Europe, where he will be creating new product solutions and product awareness with mobile carriers, infrastructure/enterprise providers and handset manufactures. “ This application not only has great potential for all of the mobile phone companies worldwide but also has many other useful applications apart from traffic ” stated Ranallo. “ I am excited to help get this project off the ground.

I believe that this service can be one of the most widely utilized applications in the mobile world. There are many LBS type systems available in the market today, but the GTN application is the only one I know of that eliminates the volume and cost restrictions that have prevented LBS and GPS alerting systems from being commonplace.

Passive alerting based on a users location opens the door to a whole host of mobile applications and services which, to date, have been cost prohibitive to develop and support.

Testing of the system is scheduled for spring 2008, with an anticipated roll out of the product in late 2008.

The maximum revenue associated with the contract, assuming expansion of service to all markets through the summer of 2012 is approximately GBP 14 million (or approximately $27.5 million). The Company expects to launch service under the contract on July 1, 2008 and anticipates initial annual revenue from the contract of approximately GBP 2.6 million.

"We are extremely pleased to be awarded the Traffic Radio Service contract," commented William L. Yde III, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Global Traffic Network. "To be awarded the contract by the Highways Agency in a bidding contest with multiple highly qualified applicants is a testament to our knowledge of the traffic business and the abilities of the executives in charge of our UK operations. Without the tireless efforts of Paul Hutton, our UK Managing Director, Kim Applegarth, our Operations Director, and their staff, obtaining this contract would not have been possible. This contract should pay for much of the infrastructure necessary to offer our core traffic reporting services to radio stations throughout the United Kingdom."

"With the award of the Highway's Agency contract and our initial success in signing radio station affiliates, currently at eleven stations, we feel that we have established the foundation to launch our service in the United Kingdom," continued Mr. Yde. "Although we continue to assess potential acquisition opportunities in the United Kingdom, we do not believe that expansion through acquisition is critical to long-term operating success in that market."

The Company also provided guidance related to financial projections for its fiscal year 2008, ending June 30, 2008. The Company's guidance forecasts consolidated net revenues in the range of $49 to $52 million, and Adjusted Operating Income of approximately $4.9 to $5.2 million. The Company defines Adjusted Operating Income as operating income plus depreciation and amortization expense. The Company does not expect to recognize revenue from the Highway's Agency contract until fiscal 2009.

The forecasted ranges for consolidated net revenues and Adjusted Operating Income reflect management's best estimates of the future financial performance based on previous announced financial results for the six-months ended December 31, 2007, the Company's internal financial statements for the months of January and February 2008 (which have not been subject to review or audit by the Company's independent registered public accounting firm), management's good faith estimate of March 2008 results and expectations for the fourth fiscal quarter ending June 30, 2008. The Company's financial projections are subject to adjustments based upon, among other things, unanticipated changes in foreign exchange rates, actual operating results for the fourth fiscal quarter and the audit of the Company's fiscal 2008 financial statements. Therefore, actual financial results may differ materially from the projections reflected above. The Company does not intend to provide guidance as to future financial performance on a regular basis in the future.

This press release contains statements that constitute forward-looking statements. These statements reflect our current views with respect to future events. These forward-looking statements involve known and unknown risks, uncertainties and other factors, including those discussed under the heading "Risk Factors" and elsewhere in our annual report 10-K that may cause our actual results, performance or achievements to be materially different from any future results, performances or achievements anticipated or implied by these forward-looking statements. We do not undertake to revise any forward-looking statements to reflect future events or circumstances.

SUPPLEMENTAL DISCLOSURES REGARDING NON-GAAP FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Global Traffic Network, Inc. defines Adjusted Operating Income as net operating income adjusted to exclude depreciation and amortization expense. The Company uses Adjusted Operating Income, among other things, to evaluate its operating performance. The Company believes the presentation of this measure is relevant and useful for investors because it helps improve their ability to understand the Company's operating performance and makes it easier to compare the Company's results with other companies that have different financing and capital structures or tax rates. In addition, the Company believes this measure is among the measures used by investors, analysts and peers in the media industry for purposes of evaluation and comparing its operating performance to other companies.

Adjusted Operating Income is not a measure of performance calculated in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP") and it should not be considered in isolation of, or as a substitute for, net operating income as an indicator of operating performance. Because Adjusted Operating Income excludes certain financial information compared with net operating income, the most directly comparable GAAP financial measure, users of this financial information should consider the types of events and transactions which are excluded. In addition, Adjusted Operating Income may not be comparable to measures of adjusted operating income, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), operating cash flow or similarly titled measures employed by other companies. In addition, this measure is not necessarily a measure of the Company's ability to fund its cash needs.

The following presents the reconciliation of projected net operating income to projected Adjusted Operating Income for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008.

Reconciliation of projected net operating income to projected Adjusted

The MTN Alerts is created at the Traffic Management Center. The TMC collects traffic incident data from multiple sources such as road sensors, DOT reports, video, etc.

When an incident occurs the TMC generates a validated real-time audio report about the incident. In order to generate a MTN Alerts the TMC must do the following:

Geo-code the incident and then pass the geo-coded information to the Mobile Traffic Network Incident Zone Generator where it determines the size of the impacted area in relation to cell towers. The Incident Zone generator then determines which cell tower zones will be effected.

The TMC will generate an appropriate audio alert for the incident.

The Mobile Traffic Network Broadcaster then takes the incident alert, incident zone and tower ID's and requests the Mobile Identification Numbers of each tower filtering the opted in subscribers for the service. The Broadcaster then complies the MTN Alerts and broadcasts them to the MTN Alerts clients on each subscriber handset.

The Mobile Traffic Network Gateway then broadcasts the MTN Alerts which is comprised of an SMS/Service message that invokes the MTN Alerts Client to launch on the mobile handset where the application automatically connects to the server and downloads the Alert multimedia file that will automatically start to play after the download completes as the MTN Alerts plays we also present a companion text message.

The phone automatically plays the MTN Alerts without the need for the consumer to touch or interact with the phone. The MTN Alerts operates passively without the need to run an application or require the consumer to prompt the phone to collect traffic information.

While MTN Alerts runs passively, MTN Alerts can also be trigged by an application to push the MTN Alerts to the phones when GPS is enabled or with other navigation or map information applications. The MTN Alerts Framework allows the support of different types and allows the broadcast to the handsets from trusted broadcast and content sources such as weather, emergency broadcast alerts, Amber alerts, disaster alerts, and reverse E-911 alerts. The framework is part of a firmware and server solution to manage both location awareness and the gateways to send the alerts.

CNET Networks and Yahoo! Announce Multi-Year Strategic Content, Advertising, and Search Marketing Partnership

CNET Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:CNET) announced today with Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO), a broad, three-year strategic partnership that includes content, advertising, and search marketing components. This partnership creates unparalleled value for users and marketers alike. CNET, as the leader in technology media, provides category expertise and trusted, engaging content destinations for consumers, while Yahoo! brings scale and a broad advertising platform to increase revenue and distribution for its partners.

      Under the partnership:

      CNET.com will become a major third-party provider of technology content on Yahoo! Tech and Yahoo! News, which will significantly add to its current offerings and ensure that Yahoo! will continue to provide its audience with the best news, reviews, and videos about technology and consumer electronics;
      CNET Networks will be able to sell ads against its own audience on Yahoo! properties, giving its marketing partners the ability to efficiently and effectively scale their marketing programs across CNET Networks and the Yahoo! network;
Yahoo! will be able to sell display advertising inventory across CNET Networks’ category defining brands, which will be key components of Yahoo!’s publisher network; and
Yahoo!’s toolbar will be broadly distributed through a newly constructed program at CNET Download.com, the world’s largest resource for safe, secure and trusted downloads.
“After evaluating several alternatives, we are extremely pleased to engage with Yahoo! in this broad, long-term relationship. With the use of Yahoo!’s advanced behavioral targeting technology, Yahoo!’s marketers can leverage the publishing channel to reach their customers within CNET Networks’ category-specific areas.

The partnership will also enable CNET Networks to provide its advertisers with extended reach and frequency of messaging by targeting CNET Networks’ users while they are on the Yahoo! network. Finally, CNET Networks will offer its marketers increased video reach and scale as CNET Networks sells the advertising programs associated with the technology video content that it provides to the Yahoo! network.

“This announcement builds on our strategy to be the partner of choice for leading Internet publishers looking to maximize their revenue potential and audience engagement,” said Todd Teresi, senior vice president of the Yahoo! Global Traffic Network, Inc. Reports Fiscal First Quarter 2009 Operating Results
Fiscal first quarter revenue increases 45% to $16.0 million
Adjusted Operating Income increases 260% to $2.1 million
Fiscal first quarter net income increases over $900,000 to $856,000

New York, NY, November 10, 2008 - Global Traffic Network, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNET), a leading provider of custom traffic and news reports to radio and television stations outside the U.S., today announced its results for the fiscal first quarter ended September 30, 2008.

For the quarter ended September 30, 2008, revenue was $16.0 million, an increase of 45% from $11.0 million in first quarter of fiscal 2008. The increase in quarterly revenue was driven primarily by a 31% increase in revenue from the Company's Australian operations, which was mainly attributable to increased revenue from its radio network. Also contributing was a 72% increase in revenue from the Company's Canadian operations over the quarter ended September 30, 2007. When measured in the local currencies, fiscal 2009 Australian and Canadian revenue increased 25% and 72%, respectively, compared to the prior year period. The Company's UK business posted revenue of $1.2 million, compared to no revenue for the same period last year.

Adjusted Operating Income for the first quarter of fiscal 2009 was $2.1 million compared to Adjusted Operating Income of $0.6 million for the first fiscal quarter of 2008. The Company defines Adjusted Operating Income as operating income plus depreciation and amortization expense.

Net income for the first quarter of fiscal 2009 was $0.9 million, compared to a net loss of $0.1 million for the same period a year ago.

Commenting on the results, William L. Yde III, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Global Traffic Network, said, "We are pleased to report another excellent quarter even though there is a great deal of uncertainty and turmoil in the global economy. Despite broader market issues, our business remains solid and we continue to see strong demand for our advertising spots. We believe that our advertising products are particularly attractive in difficult economic times due to their cost efficiency and effectiveness in reaching mass audience. We continue to increase revenue in both Australia and Canada and now have a steady revenue stream from the Highways Agency contract in the United Kingdom. Even though revenues continue to grow in our local markets, the strengthening of the U.S. dollar will have a negative impact on our revenues when reported in U.S. dollars. However, we believe continuing to develop new advertising clients and drive demand for our products and services in the local markets is the key to our long term financial performance."

Mr. Yde continued, "Recently we announced that we terminated the letter of intent to acquire UBC Media Group's commercial division in the United Kingdom. Given the effect that current market conditions have had on UBC's revenues, we did not feel that it was a prudent investment at the previously agreed upon price. That being said, we remain in informal discussions with UBC in an attempt to find an acquisition structure that more accurately reflects the performance of the business. Nonetheless, we believe that there is ample opportunity for us to gain market share in the United Kingdom and are excited for the long term prospects that exist in this country regardless of whether this particular acquisition ultimately occurs."

"Overall, the revenue trends we have recently seen in our Australian and Canadian business bode well for the company, and the long-term outlook for the United Kingdom is very positive. While we don't feel that any business is immune to the current economic conditions, we do believe that we are well positioned to weather the storm and continue to grow our business, as we have a healthy amount of cash on our balance sheet, little debt and a steady cash stream from our established businesses," concluded Mr.

In addition, Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) may not be comparable to measures of adjusted operating income, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), adjusted EBITDA, operating cash flow or similarly titled measures employed by other companies. Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) is not necessarily a measure of the Company's ability to fund its cash needs.

The following presents the reconciliation of net operating income (loss) to Adjusted Operating Income (Loss) for the three month period ended September 30, 2008 and 2007.

Global Traffic Network Announces Closing of Its Purchase of the Unique Broadcasting Company Limited from UBC Media Group

NEW YORK, Mar 02, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Global Traffic Network, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNET), a leading provider of custom traffic and news reports to radio and television stations outside the United States, today announced that its United Kingdom subsidiary, Global Traffic Network (UK) Limited, has completed its acquisition of the commercial division of UBC Media Group plc (LSE: UBC.L), which supplies traffic and travel information to approximately 230 radio stations and entertainment news information to approximately 120 radio stations in the United Kingdom in exchange for commercial airtime inventory that is then sold to advertisers. The acquisition was effected through a purchase of the entire share capital of The Unique Broadcasting Company Limited, the UBC subsidiary that housed the commercial division operations. UBC's commercial division has approximately 700,000 radio commercials available for sale on an annual basis. In addition to the radio networks, The Unique Broadcasting Company has approximately GBP 3 million pounds of tax losses that Global Traffic Network expects to be able to utilize against future earnings of its U.K. operations.

The Company's U.K. subsidiary acquired the share capital of The Unique Broadcasting Company for a closing date purchase price of GBP 9 million (approximately $13.1 million) and three additional potential earn-out payments based on the financial performance of the acquired business during the 2009, 2010 and 2011 calendar years. For 2009, UBC will be entitled to GBP 1 million if the acquired business generates 2009 revenue of at least GBP 11.0 million, and will be entitled to additional payment amounts, up to a maximum of GBP 5.5 million, based on a graduated schedule of 2009 revenue ranging from GBP 11 million to GBP 13.6 million. For 2010 and 2011, UBC will be entitled to receive 50% of the amount by which revenue from the acquired business exceeds GBP 12 million or GBP 12.5 million, respectively.

William L. Yde III, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Global Traffic Network, commented, "We are delighted to close the purchase, as it will dramatically increase our presence in the United Kingdom, adding approximately 230 radio stations and over 700,000 radio advertising spots per year. The acquisition not only significantly expands our business in the U.K.; it dramatically increases the size and scope of Global Traffic Network as a whole. The stations currently serviced by the acquired business have a non-duplicated cume of approximately 21.5 million listeners weekly, which is greater than our combined reach in Australia and Canada."

Mr. Yde continued, "Although we are paying a premium for UBC's commercial division, we see the overall initial consideration as a modest investment given the footprint of the network. Even after payment of the initial purchase price, we will still have a solid balance sheet with a strong cash position and virtually no debt. It has been a long process to finally acquire the commercial division and now we look forward to working with management to successfully integrate and grow the business."
