Continuus Software Announces Agreement With IBM to Provide eAsset Management Platform Supporting VisualAge for Java Developers

Continuus Software Corporation (Nasdaq: CNSW), the leading provider of eAsset
Management solutions, announced today the signing of an agreement with IBM to
provide eAsset Management support for IBM`s VisualAge for Java(TM). The
agreement allows Continuus to participate as a development partner with IBM to
help to ensure Java developers are able to integrate reliable, task-based
change tracking and management solutions for building and testing Java-based
enterprise applications.
IBM is a leading provider of integrated development solutions for
companies wanting to implement eBusiness and Internet-based enterprise
applications. Its VisualAge for Java integrated development environment (IDE)
enables developers to build, test and deploy 100% Pure(TM) Java applications,
JavaBeans components, servlets and applets. The Continuus Java solution
supports integrations with a broad spectrum of tools and technology partners.
Due to eBusiness demands, Java developers are constantly required to build and
deliver higher quality, more reliable, and scalable Java applications on a
much faster schedule.

With the new 5.1 release of Continuus CM Synergy, Continuus is providing a
solution for managing all of the eAssets in Java applications. Its new
Distributed Change Management (DCM) option for Java meets those demands by
providing a task-based process to manage
Java applications through the entire development life cycle. CM`s Synergy
DCM option provides an optimized solution for extended Java development teams,
delivering an infrastructure for synchronizing changes across multiple
locations. Additionally, DCM can be easily integrated with an organization`s
existing processes to help Java development teams work faster and more
efficiently. In addition, Continuus supports IBM platforms including AIX and
the MVS OS/390 environments.
