Jetzt heißt es wieder satte Gewinne machen mit " unserer" Motorola!
Der heutige Kursanstieg hat die zwischenzeitige Talfahrt von Motorola beendet. Gefallen durch Intel, Nokia,Ericsson usw..
Motorola selbst ist einer der großen Gewinner der UMTS, Im Bluetooth gut positioniert, marktführerschaft in Asien, Cooperation mit Telefonica.
Motorola ist ein Basiswert mit hohen Kurschancen.
Vergleich zu Nokia und Ericsson sehr günstig bewertet ( KGV)
Warscheinlich wird der Kurs morgen nach diesen hohen Kursanstieg ein wenig schmelzen, aber mittelfristig ist Motorola der Wert schlechthin.

Hätte gerne Eure Meinung und News zu Motorola gewußt!
Nach samuikoh muß hier wieder was in die welt gesetzt werden! Bitte helft mir und Euch dabei!

heute ist ein schöner tag findet ihr nicht?
falls irgendwer hier.sich die mühe machen würde und eine praktisch nachvollziehbare anleitung ins Board stellen würde wie man texte von anderen webseiten hier rein bringt,könnte ich euch an meinen recherchen teilhaben lassen.
eigenes geschreibsel riecht zu schnell nach gepushe, und das hat mot meiner meinung nicht nötig.
im handelsblatt.de habe ich gelesen das alle grossen tele-ausrüster,nokia,eric.,alcatel,MOT natürlich und einige andere forciert an der zukunftsfantasie bluetooth arbeiten,und zwar hat sich da jeder ein spezialgebiet vorgenommen.
das wird ein riesiger markt von dem mot als nicht nur handy-produzent
sicher profitieren wird.
erics.ist zwar auch gut aufgestellt,hat aber eigentlich kaum die kapazitäten,so viele jobs zu machen wie sich bieten werden.
die wahnsinnseuphorie erics.gegenüber teile ich deshalb nicht,weil bei anhaltenden empfehl.der analysten,ruck-zuck eine überbewertung mit einem völlig überzogenen KGV entstehen wird,
das merkt dann mal einer der namhaften analysten-und plötzlich kommstdu nach hause und sie erzählen dir im n-tv: die blase sei geplatzt.
(ist zwar von der qualität der firma kein vergleich mit met@box,
aber auch bei ericsson hat jeder nur zwei hände!!!!)
ausserdem bin ich der meinung das die amis die eigenen grossen firmen nicht verkommen lassen und nur noch in europa in telek.investieren.
dazu sind die viel zu konservativ.
habe gestern gehört,das in amerika ca.4,5 billionen dollar in fonds investiert werden.
da wird es dem markt auf dauer nicht ganz schlecht gehen.
es gewinnen die ,die für fantasie sorgen.
da werden gute nachrichten nicht mehr lange ignoriert werden.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Oct 19, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- For the first time at a National Football League game, the New York Jets are spearheading an effort to collect no longer used wireless phones from fans attending Monday`s Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets game at the Meadowlands. Phones collected will eventually be used as a tool to help protect women in danger of domestic violence.

The wireless phones will be collected at tents situated outside all gates leading into the stadium. Phones will be accepted from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. the night of the game.

The collection event is part of the national Donate a Phone program which, since launching in September 1999, has resulted in the collection of more than 110,000 used wireless phones from citizens across the United States. Once collected, phones are refurbished and reprogrammed with direct links to local emergency services and domestic violence shelter hotline numbers. The Donate a Phone collection event at the game represents a collaborative effort among the New York Jets, the Wireless Foundation, Motorola, AT&T Wireless Services, FedEx, and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Employees of Motorola, AT&T Wireless Services, and FedEx will be staffing the collecting tents at the game.

Motorola auf "buy" zurückgestuft (Banc Of America)
Analysten der Banc of America haben die Motorola-Aktien von "strong buy" auf "buy" zurückgestuft.

Man rechne jetzt mit einem Gewinn pro Aktie von 96 cents statt 1,05$. Das Kursziel für die nächsten zwölf Monate wurde aufgrund der weltweiten fallenden Gewinne auf dem Handymarkt und dem niedrigen Eurokurs von 60$ auf 40$ gesenkt.

Auch Goldman Sachs, die Deutsche Bank und Credit Suisse First Boston nahmen die Herabstufung und Kürzung der Gewinnprognose beim Handyanbieter vor.

Die Experten vom "Berliner Börsenbrief" geben für die Aktien des Halbleiterproduzenten Motorola die Empfehlung "kaufen".

Das Unternehmen suche beim weltumspannenden Mobilfunknetz Iridium nach einer finalen Lösung. Das Satellitennetz des Pleiteunternehmens koste monatlich Millionen Dollar. Nachdem verschiedene Versuche, die augenblicklich nutzlosen Besitztümer zu veräußern, aufgrund von für Motorola inakzeptablen Geboten zurückgewiesen worden seien, wolle man nun versuchen, die 66 Satelliten vom Himmel zu holen, weshalb gerade Gespräche mit den Regulierungsbehörden geführt würden. Auf diese Weise werde Motorola zwar nichts erlösen, dies sei aber besser, als das Millionengrab weiter zu betreiben, da die resultierenden laufenden Kosten über die letzten Monate einen wichtigen Faktor dargestellt hätten, so dass der Aktienkurs sich nicht hätte beflügeln können und Motorola im Gegensatz zu anderen Halbleitertiteln stagniert habe.

Dabei sei zwar Iridium nicht der einzige Faktor gewesen, jedoch könne man sehen, dass Motorola seine Probleme aktiv angehe.

Für die Experten des Berliner Börsenbriefs macht ein Investment augenblicklich keinen Sinn mehr.

Ursächlich für die Entwicklung von Motorola sei vorrangig der Wechsel der Geschäftspolitik gewesen.Motorola setze sich nicht mehr so stark wie früher dem extremen Preiskampf im Handy-Billigsegment aus.

Die harten Kämpfe in dem Sektor hätten Motorola im ersten Quartal eine operative Marge von nur 2% beschert. Im jüngsten Abrechnungszeitraum sei dies auf rund 6% ausgeweitet worden.

Aufgrund eines schlechten Zukunftsausblicks habe sich die Anlageperspaktive dennoch erheblich verschlechtert. So erwarte das Unternehmen für das vierte Quartal einen Gewinn pro Aktie in Höhe von 27 Cent. Gegenüber dem abgelaufenen dritten Quartal gehe man nun von gleichbleibenden 6% aus.

In der anschließenden Handelssitzung sei die Aktie um rund 20% gefallen. Die Experten halten die Perspektiven für den Kurs für extrem schlecht.

Motorola mit neuem Timeport Datenhandy

Ab Oktober bringt Motorola ein neues Gerät, das Timeport 250, auf den
Markt. Das WAP-fähige Tri-Band kann mit zahlreichen PCs, Palm Pilots und
anderen e-Kalendern verbunden werden und Daten austauschen. Neu sind
auch das 96 x 64 mm große, blau beleuchtete Display mit zwei
Funktionssymbolreihen, Kalender mit integrierter Alarmfunktion sowie
Datum- und Zeitangabe verpasster Anrufe oder Nachrichten. Das Motorola
Timeport soll in Deutschland zu einem Preis von 699 Mark inklusive
Mehrwertsteuer und ohne Kartenvertrag verfügbar sein.

Eingehende Anrufe können jetzt zu festgelegten Zeiten, zum Beispiel
während einer Besprechung oder auf dem Weg zur Arbeit, auf die
Voice-Box geleitet werden. Parallel erhält der Nutzer ein Signal zum
eingehenden Anruf und kann entscheiden, ob er das Gespräch direkt
annehmen oder die Rufumleitung nutzen will.

Zusätzlich ermöglicht die VoiceNote-Funktion dem Nutzer, Gespräche von
bis zu drei Minuten aufzuzeichnen und erinnert mittels eines akustischen
Signals daran, Nachrichten abzurufen. Außerdem kann der Nutzer die
Nummer einer eingegangenen SMS direkt in das Telefonbuch oder auf die
SIM-Karte speichern. Bis zu 300 Einträge finden im Telefonbuch des
Handys Platz, weitere auf der SIM-Karte. Als weiteres Feature bietet das
Timeport 250 zehn integrierte Ruftöne sowie drei Spiele zum Zeitvertreib.

Hallo Sandy,
ich habe im Sommer eine Rundreise durch die USA und Hawaii unternommen.
Mir ist aufgefallen, daß viele Bürger in den USA uralte Handy´s verwenden, alte Schinken, die bei uns jeder wegwerfen würde.
Da ich selbst sehr stark in Nokia investiert bin, habe ich darauf geachtet, mit welchen Handy´s denn die Amerikaner telefonieren.
Du wirst es nicht glauben, aber es waren in der Mehrzahl Nokia-Handy´s. Von Motorola habe ich wenig gesehen.

Wenn diese Firma nicht in der Lage ist, im eigenen Land seine Produkte marktführend an den Mann zu bringen,dann kannst Du nicht erwarten, daß Motorola eine überragende Rolle im Verteilungskampf zwischen Nokia, Ericcson und Motorala spielen wird.

Ich möchte Dir ja nicht Deine Illusionen über Motorola nehmen, aber wenn Du die Zahlen der letzten Tage vergleichst,dann gibt es eigenlich nur eine Telekommunikationsfirma in die es sich lohnt zu investieren
