Forum Prepares to Commence Production Testing on Maya Wells
Wednesday January 21, 4:30 pm ET
CALGARY, Alberta, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The following was released on behalf of the Board of Forum Energy Corporation, by David R. Robinson, President and CEO:
FORUM ENERGY CORPORATION (OTC Bulletin Board: FRUEF; Berlin and Frankfurt: FE8) reports its subsidiary and sole operator of Service Contract 40, Forum Exploration, Inc., is preparing to conduct production tests of its three wells in Maya, Daanbantayan, Cebu within the first quarter of 2004.
The three wells, named Forum-1X, 2X, and 3X, encountered good oil and gas shows during drilling in 2003. Several intervals have been identified based on rock samples and wireline logs which could be potential zones for drill stem tests. The wells were drilled using the company-owned Hycalog Rig HH3500.
Forum Exploration is currently finalizing the testing and completion program for each well and has started reviewing the proposals submitted by local and foreign contractors. The program will commence on the Forum-2X well, which flowed up to 217,000 cubic feet of gas through a half-inch choke during an openhole test conducted last October 2003.
The planned multi-well tests are aimed at confirming the producibility and continuity of the reservoirs within the Maingit and Malubog Formations. A re-evaluation of the Maya area will be undertaken next to determine whether the oil and gas finds can be developed commercially.

Stay long and keep cool!

Erste Bohrungen waren erfolgreich.

Schaut euch mal MOBL.OB an.

Thank you for your email.
As we mentioned in our previous email to you last month, development scenario’s for our three onshore wells are still in the process of being evaluated. Development scenario’s currently being evaluated include (but are not limited to) the possibility of Forum putting in place a power station which would be served by the three wells (with reserves estimated at 14BCF gas** and 8million barrels of oil**), and the nearby Libertad gas field (With proven reserves of 1BCF+). We are currently in discussions with potential partners regarding this project. This would be a significant project for Forum, but it is especially interesting due to the fact that there is existing infrastructure on the Island of Cebu and the Market is therefore very close to the site. At present the Philippines is a net importer of energy with 100% of all oil consumption imported – I am sure you will appreciate that whilst this development scenario is by no means confirmed – it is an exciting prospect. In other news we are also continuing negotiations with a major energy company with respect to a possible strategic alliance in the Philippines, and more detailed news on this and all other information included in this email will be released by the company shortly.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch, should you require any further information.
Best wishes

@Morchel

O Handel in USA heute, gestern 573 Stck.

Forum to test 3 Cebu wells
Forum Exploration Inc., a subsidiary of Canadian petroleum firm Forum Energy Corp. (EEC), will test the commercial viability of three onshore wells in Cebu.
"The Forum -1X, -2X and -3X wells showed good oil and gas during drilling in 2003," FEC president and CEO David Robinson said.
The production test program would start on Forum -2X which flowed up to 217,000 cubic feet of gas a day during initial test conducted in October last year.
The test would determine whether the Maingit and Malubog formations, earlier identified as possible sources of oil and gas, are part of a big reservoir.
Northern Cebu is estimated to contain at least 3.9m barrels of oil.
Forum Energy is the sole operator of Service Contract No. 40 covering the northern half of Cebu island and a large section of the Visayan Sea.

Es fließen also derzeit viele Investitionen ins Land...
Absolut.

" The Manguerra coal licenses cover some 1,000 Hectares and the coal is classified as a high quality steam coal (11,500 BTU/lb) with low ash content and sulphur content of 1.6%, based on core samples and coal production. Manguerra has operated as a family owned business since the late 70`s with production levels in the range 1,000 -- 2,000 tons per month."

Forum to Commence Coal Production in Cebu

CALGARY, Alberta, Apr 7, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- FORUM ENERGY CORPORATION (OTC Bulletin Board: FRUEF; Berlin and Frankfurt: FE8) announced today, as part of it`s objective of diversifying sources of energy from oil and gas production, that the company has agreed the terms to acquire The Manguerra Mining and Development Corporation of Cebu, Philippines (Manguerra), subject to completion of formal due diligence and Department of Energy approval.
Detailed Technical and Financial feasibility studies on the Manguerra licenses were conducted on behalf of The Asian Development Bank in 1998 and by The Xuzhou Coal Mining Bureau of Jiangsu Province, China in 1989. These studies indicated the Manguerra properties are capable of large-scale commercially viable coal production, with proven coal reserves of some 7 million tons and an additional probable and possible 12 million tons.

In addition to this initial investment to establish Forum in Coal production, the company is studying other large coal bearing prospects in Indonesia and Philippines.
STATEMENT FROM DAVID R. ROBINSON, PRESIDENT & CEO
"I am pleased that we have secured this important asset, which will add great value to our ever diversifying portfolio. The Manguerra acquisition will add significant proven reserves to our balance sheet, whilst also assisting in bringing positive cash flow into the company through the extraction and sale of coal to local markets initially, and later to regional customers as production levels are increased."
"Whilst this new and exciting project moves forward, so also does our development plan for the Maya Gas Field. Forum 1X, 2X and 3X are in the final stages of assessment, and we are now in consultation with our independent petroleum engineers who are assisting in the calculation of the probable reserves of the field, based on our existing data. We therefore anticipate that Forum Exploration will commence extended production testing on the three wells within the next quarter."

AUSSAGE VON DAVID R. ROBINSON, PRÄSIDENT u.

Forum Energy "strong buy"

Tonnen bewiesene Kohlereserven.
Im besten Fall kann Forum also rund 250 Mio. Dollar Gewinn erzielen.

Forum Gibt 20 Mio. Dollar Finanzierung Bekannt

Also schön locker bleiben Leute. Warten wir mal die nächsten Meldungen ab.

FORUM COMPLETES FIRST COAL ACQUISITION IN THE PHILIPPINES AND REPORTS ON OTHER CORPORATE NEWS
MONDAY , MAY 17TH, 2004 08:30 AM
CALGARY, Alberta, May 17, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- FORUM ENERGY CORPORATION (OTCBB: FRUEF, Frankfurt/Munich: FE8) (“Forum” or “The Company”) is pleased to announce the completion of the purchase of The Manguerra Mining and Development Corporation of Cebu, Philippines (Manguerra)
As reported on 7th April 2004, Manguerra has proven coal reserves of some 7 million tons and an additional probable and possible 12 million tons.
Detailed Technical and Financial feasibility studies on the Manguerra licenses were conducted on behalf of The Asian Development Bank in 1998 and by The Xuzhou Coal Mining Bureau of Jiangsu Province, China in 1989.
Energy Services Group (ESG) Dubai (www.esgdubai.com) who are presently overseeing the Company`s exploration and development efforts, are currently compiling a detailed development plan for the property, and it is expected that production will shortly be increased from present production levels of around 2000 tons per month.
“This purchase is extremely significant for the company and its shareholders – we are now an active producer of Coal in the Philippines, and will begin supplying local customers this month. Assuming the continuation of current production levels of 2000 tons/month, we estimate Manguerra will initially generate revenue of around US$80,000 per month and we expect production to rise by the end of 2004” commented David Robinson, CEO of Forum Energy Corporation.

Forum Energy has ceased trading on The Berlin Stock Exchange. The decision to delist from Berlin was made after a review of the exchange rules – which do not comply with Forum’s internal standards, specifically due to the allowance of the practice of Naked Short Trading. Forum believes that the relentless pressure on the company’s share price in recent weeks in light of positive developments may have been caused by this practice.
European Investors will continue to be able to trade Forum shares at Frankfurt and Munich (under the symbol “FE8”), where such trading practices are not permitted,

Liebe Grüsse und good Trades

Forum Applies for New Coal Operating Contract in Cebu
via COMTEX
July 29, 2004
CALGARY, Alberta, Jul 29, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
FORUM ENERGY CORPORATION (OTCBB: FRUEF, Frankfurt/Munich: FE8) ("Forum" or "The Company") announces today that the company`s Philippine subsidiary, Forum Exploration, Inc. is in the process of submitting a formal application to the Philippine Department of Energy (DOE) for a new Coal Operating Contract (COC). Exploration drilling is planned by Forum to more definitively identify the readily mineable coal reserves, which based on present information, are conservatively estimated to be between 2 to 10 million metric tons recoverable, with considerable upside potential.
The new license areas are located near the town of Dalaguete, South Cebu, which is an identified Coal region. The area has a history of mining activities due to excellent quality steaming coal, bituminous in rank. With the recent increase in coal prices, many of the old small scale mine workings in the area are being evaluated for re-entry while other potential mineable coal bodies are also being evaluated for new COC`s on a much larger scale.
The COC being applied for by Forum is made up of four of the most prospective Coal Blocks in the area, with a total aerial closure of over 2,500 hectares. The Blocks are situated at an elevation of about 600 meters above sea level and are traversed by a provincial road connecting to the town of Dalaguete in the east.
Coal seams are observed to occur extensively in the Calagasan and Linut-od clastic sequences of Late Oligocene and Early Miocene formations which extend laterally over the subject COC area. Typically, the coal seams are found to be moderate to steeply dipping at 50-70 degrees and with an average thickness of 1.5 to 2.0 meters.
STATEMENT FROM DAVID R. ROBINSON, PRESIDENT & CEO
"The market for coal is expanding rapidly and is expected to continue for the foreseeable future. The Philippines presently consumes in excess of 10 million metric tons/year and local supply amounts to only 2 million metric tons with 90% supplied by a single producer.
"These new coal license areas give Forum an excellent opportunity to rapidly become a key producer of high quality steam coal with operations estimated to commence within the first quarter of next year. In addition the company is planning to apply for up to 12 additional Coal Blocks in the same area as they become available through the DOE."
This release contains "forward looking statements" as per Section 21E of the US Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. Although the Company believes that the expectations reflected in such forward looking statements are reasonable, it can give no assurance that such expectations will prove to have been correct. Management is currently reviewing many options and there is no assurance that they will not make decisions other than those now contemplated. The Company is subject to political risks and operational risks identified in documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, including changing and depressed oil prices, unsuccessful drilling results, change of government and political unrest in its main area of operations

Forum Enters Into $5.481M Stock Purchase Agreement With a London Based Investment Fund
via COMTEX
August 23, 2004
CALGARY, Alberta, Aug 23, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
The following was released on behalf of the Board of Forum Energy Corporation, by David R. Robinson, President and CEO:
FORUM ENERGY CORPORATION (OTCBB: FRUEF, Frankfurt/Munich: FE8) ("Forum" or "The Company") announced today it has entered into a Stock Purchase Agreement ("SPA") with a London based investment fund ("London Fund"), pursuant to which, in exchange for 27,000,000 shares (the "Consideration Shares") of the Company`s common stock at US$0.203 for a total deemed value of US$5.481 million, the Company will receive 3,018,172 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the London Fund ("London Fund Consideration Shares") at a price of 1.00 pounds Sterling per share credited as fully paid and on the terms of the SPA. The consideration shares and London Fund consideration shares will be held in escrow pending the occurrence of certain events as detailed below.
The London Based Investment Fund was established specifically to invest in US small cap companies with long term growth potential; it expects to have its common stock listed for trading on the London Stock Exchange by the end of September 2004. If the London Fund Shares are not listed for trading by such date, the Company may, in its discretion, terminate and void the SPA. Upon listing of the London Fund Shares for trading on the LSE, approximately 50% or 1,509,086 shares will be released from escrow to the Company; the balance will remain in escrow for a period of two years and, subject to possible downward adjustment based upon the then public price of the Company`s common stock, will then be released to the Company.
In accordance with the terms of the SPA the Consideration Shares will be restricted and may not be resold for a period of 2 years following the closing date.
Upon the initial release of the London Fund Shares to Forum, the Company has agreed to pay a finder`s fee to a third party equal to 10% of the London Fund Shares. The proceeds which the Company may receive from the sale of the London Fund Consideration Shares will be based on the market price of the London Fund Shares at that time and cannot be presently ascertained; such market price may be affected by numerous factors beyond the Company`s control.
"We are pleased to have executed this SPA; upon the consummation of the transaction, we anticipate that it will provide the company with access to the necessary capital to continue its active exploration, development and acquisition programme," stated David Robinson, President & CEO.
This release contains "forward looking statements" as per Section 21E of the US Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
Forum Energy plc, the AIM-quoted energy group with gas, oil and coal assets in the Philippines, has acquired interests in nine offshore oil fields and additional exploration prospects.
It has acquired the new assets through the takeover of Basic Petroleum and Mining Inc (BPMI, formerly held by Philippines-based Basic Consolidated Inc.
Forum Chief Executive David Robinson said: “This acquisition represents an exceptional opportunity for us to increase shareholder value. We are starting with around 40 barrels of output a day, but with considerable potential to boost production.”
The newly-acquired assets cover nine offshore fields west of the Philippines, comprising: Nido (8.47%), Matinloc and Pandan (12.41%), North Matinloc (19.46%), Libro (28.6%), Tara (10%), Bonita (7.03%), West Linapacan (9.1%), Galoc (2.28%) and a 27.7% interest in SC41 situated within the Sulu Sea and covering some 4,820 square km, an area with proven hydrocarbon potential. Project work will be managed by Forum’s team in Manila.
The Nido and Matinloc fields have been producing since the early 1980s in 40 metres of water, achieving peak production of 50,000 barrels per day (b/d) together and currently producing about 1,000 b/d. Remaining proved and probable reserves in the two fields, and nearby Galoc (currently under development), have been independently estimated at more than 8.6 million barrels, with considerable upside potential both in these fields and the others where interests have now been acquired.
Forum will pay US$5 million over the next 12 months in a combination of cash and shares to acquire 100% of BPMI. Further cash payments of up to $2 million will become available if the acquired interests produce more than 5.4 million barrels of oil. BCI may also progressively receive cost recovery of up to $10 million, but not until Forum has recovered 100% of its invested capital.
Forum’s existing assets, all in the Philippines, include the highly promising Sampaguita gas discovery within the GSEC101 (Reed Bank) offshore licence area, and the SC40 (Cebu) licence with known onshore and offshore gas and oil discoveries, where the Libertad gas field was recently declared commercial. Forum also holds two coal operating contracts on Cebu Island with estimated proven and probable reserves of 4.9 million tonnes.

Completion of Acquisition and Issue of Equity
Forum Energy Plc (‘Forum’ or ‘the Company’), the AIM quoted oil, gas and coal company with assets in the Philippines, is pleased to announce that all the conditions relating to its acquisition of Basic Petroleum and Minerals Inc (‘BPMI’), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Basic Consolidated, Inc. (‘BCI’), have been met.
On 30 March 2006 the Department of Energy of the Government of the Philippines approved the assignment of the participating interests of BCI to its subsidiary BPMI, this being the final condition relating to Forum’s acquisition of BPMI. As announced on 29 March 2006, the shareholders of BCI have previously approved the acquisition by Forum of BPMI.
The acquisition of the entire issued share capital of BPMI, in exchange for a mixture of cash and ordinary shares in Forum, can now be completed.
This acquisition will provide Forum with initial net production of approximately 40 barrels of oil per day, and varying interests in nine oil fields offering additional production and reserve potential.
The terms of the agreement are set out in the announcement made by Forum on 15 February 2006 and can be summarised as follows:
Forum will pay US$5 million to BCI over the next 12 months, made up of US$2.2 million in cash payments and the issue of 1,333,759 new ordinary shares of 10p in Forum (equating to US$2.8 million);
Further cash payments to BCI of up to US$2 million will be made if the acquired interests produce more than 5.4 million barrels of oil; and
BCI, the current owner of BPMI, may also ultimately receive up to US$10 million of cost recovery amounts that are associated with the interests, but not until after Forum has recovered 100% of its invested capital.
As part of the consideration for the acquisition, the Company is required to issue a total of 1,333,759 new ordinary shares of 10p in the Company to BCI. These shares are subject to lock-in arrangements as follows:
1,047,953 new ordinary shares of Forum issued to BCI will be subject to a 12 month holding period from 3 April 2006;
285,806 new ordinary shares of Forum issued to BCI will be subject to an 18 month holding period from 3 April 2006, subject to the conditions of certain service contracts.
The new ordinary shares were allotted on 3 April 2006 and application has been made for the admission of the new ordinary shares to trading on AIM. Dealings are expected to commence in the new ordinary shares on 10 April 2006.
Following the admission of the new ordinary shares to AIM on 10 April 2006, BCI will be interested in a total of 1,333,759 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, representing 4.67% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Work Commences to Confirm Gold Discovery
Thursday June 22, 8:20 pm ET
CALGARY, Alberta, June 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- FEC RESOURCES INC. (OTC Bulletin Board: FECOF; Frankfurt/Munich: FE8) ("FECR" or "the company") announces significant progress on the Geologic investigation of MPSA148 in which the Company has the exclusive right to earn a 40% interest through a Joint Venture (Lascogon Mining Corporation) with Philex Gold, Inc. (TSX Venture: PGI - News; PGI).
Surface investigation and limited diamond drilling that started in mid 2005 have identified gold-bearing jasperoid horizons in two (2) prospects, Lascogon and Danao.
Starting next month, some 3,000 meters of reverse circulation (RC) drilling over a 30 hectare area will cover four (4) prospects. The objective of this work program is to confirm the presence of the 500,000 ounces of gold so far identified within the gold bearing jasperoid horizons in Lascogon and Danao and to prove up further potential reserves within the other two (2) prospects.
The agreement calls for FEC to contribute US$100k/mo to a total of US$1mm to earn the 40% interest, and to date FEC has contributed the required US$700k called for during the exploration program.
STATEMENT FROM LARRY W. YOUELL, PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
"I am extremely encouraged by these preliminary results as only 16 holes have been drilled to date and we still have a full work program of over 100 holes to be drilled. In addition with the current price of gold at over US$550 an ounce we believe this project will deliver significant value to our shareholders and we therefore look forward to releasing further operational updates in the near future."
The company has the option to increase its equity interest in the Joint Venture to 60% by arranging or contributing by way of a repayable loan up to US$10,000,000 as the initial contribution to mine development and production. A payment of 30,000,000 shares in the Company also becomes due at such time of declaration of commerciality.
FEC Resources Inc. holds a diverse portfolio of Oil, Gas, Coal, Gold and Iron Ore assets located in the Philippines through its shareholdings in Forum Energy Plc, Lascogon Mining Corporation and Metalore Mining Corporation. For further information email info@fecresources.com.

Calgary, Alberta (ots/PRNewswire) -
FEC RESOURCES INC.
In diesem Gebiet
Philex Gold, Inc. (TSX Venture: PGI) (PGI).
Bei Oberflächenuntersuchungen und Mitte 2005 begonnenen begrenzten
Diamantbohrungen wurden goldführende Jasperoidhorizonte
Anzeige
in zwei (2)
Weitere

Coal production commences as part of accelerated development program
Forum Energy plc, the AIM-quoted energy group operating in the Philippines, is pleased to announce the start of production from its Naga coal mine operations in Central Cebu.
First sales are targeted for August and a further four shafts at Naga are planned to raise production to circa 300,000 tonnes a year by the end of 2008.
Newly-appointed Forum Chief Executive Russell Harvey commented:
“The commencement of coal production represents a major step forward in providing early cash flow. The coal development has been accelerated to take advantage of the infrastructure which has already been put in place. This will maximise value to shareholders and at today’s prices the predicted revenues from Naga based upon conservative production figures, will yield approximately US$12m per year by the end of 2008. A similar development programme at Dalaguete, our Southern Cebu coal contract, is planned for 2007. This is also anticipated to generate comparable revenues at peak production”
“We see this initial development of our reserves as the start of a continuing revenue generating operation. With this in mind Forum has already applied for two additional coal production licences in the Naga area”

COAL ASSETS
FEI was awarded two coal operating contracts on Cebu Island by the DOE on 23 February 2005, located at Balamban-Naga (Central Cebu) and Dalaguete (South Cebu), which have estimated proven and probable coal reserves of 4.9 million tonnes of coal.
CENTRAL CEBU COC
The Central Cebu COC consists of two sets of two Coal Blocks covering an area of 4,000 hectares. The two sets of Coal Blocks consist of CB 33-I-193, CB 33-I-194, CB 34-I-68 and CB 34-I-69
SOUTH CEBU COC
The South Cebu COC consists of two sets of two Coal Blocks covering an area of almost 2,720 hectares. The two sets of Coal Blocks consist of CB-179, CB-180, CB-219 and CB-259.
COAL OPERATING CONTRACTS
The COCs have been awarded for one year to allow the Group to undertake exploration within the acreage. The Group has the option to extend the Coal Exploration Phase by one year or declare Coal Reserves in Commercial Quantity and begin the Coal Development Phase, which is for a period of ten years. This phase can be extended for a further period of ten years and thereafter by three year extensions up to a maximum of 12 years. The Group is only able to retain the Coal Blocks within the COCs for which it enters into the Coal Development Phase. All remaining Coal Blocks within the COCs must be relinquished prior to the start of this phase or approved for further exploration. Each COC has the following commitments:
Philippine Pesos 600,000 signature bonus;
Within the first year the Group must secure a Certificate of Non-Coverage and an
Environmental Compliance Certificate from DENR and a Precondition Certificate from the NCIP; and
Implement the work programme detailed in the COC, with a minimum spend of
Philippine Pesos 1,000,000 per block.
In any year the Group is be able to recover from the gross income received under the COC
All associated operating expenses provided that the amount does not exceed 90 % of total gross income in any year. Operating expenses exceeding 90 % of gross income, including from those years when there was no income, can be recovered in subsequent years
Receive a combined fee plus a special allowance of up to 70 % of the net operating income.
The balance of the gross income generated within the COCs is due to the DOE.
The Government of the Philippines has granted exemption from all national taxes except income tax to the Group as operator of the contract. It is the Board's intention to carry out the Coal Exploration Phase over all four blocks in each COC, and subject to results, proceed to the Coal Development Phase on selected Coal Blocks. The Group will either relinquish or extend for a further year the Coal Exploration Phase on the remaining Coal Blocks. It is the Board's intention to proceed to the Coal Development Phase as soon as is reasonably possible.

3D Seismic Programme results at Sampaguita gas discovery indicates world class gas asset
Forum Energy (AIM: FEP), the AIM listed oil, gas, and coal exploration and production company focused on the Philippines, is pleased to announce that the interpretation of the 3D seismic programme at the Sampaguita gas discovery indicates a world class gas accumulation with potential reserves of up to 20 TCF (“Trillion Cubic Feet”) Forum has 100% of the equity in the licence in which the Sampaguita offshore gas discovery is situated. The block is located off the North West coast of Palawan Island in the Philippines.
Results from the 3D seismic programme and its interpretation performed by independent consultants, Count Geophysics Limited, confirmed a minimum of 3.4 TCF proven gas in place from sands tested in the 3 wells drilled to-date and the extension of the structure to a possible closure of 290 sq. km giving an upside reserves in these sands alone of 10 TCF.
Additional untested sands, which are known to contain gas, could double this figure. The block also contains 8 additional leads which require further work that has the potential to add a further 20 TCF in aggregate.
Forum is in the process of converting the licence to a service contract and plans to drill an appraisal well as soon as possible.
Russell Harvey, CEO of Forum Energy Plc commented:
"We are extremely encouraged by the results of the seismic programme, which confirm that the Company has an asset of great potential. We intend to push forward with appraisal at the earliest opportunity to bring this gas field to commerciality. Given the potential reserve size and proximity to the Asian markets it is an ideal candidate for an LNG facility."

Forum has made solid progress in the first half of 2006. The Company has moved forward and has generated first revenues from oil production in North-West Palawan, commenced coal production with revenues forecast in the second half of 2006 and has made significant progress on GSEC101 following the positive results of the interpretation of 3D seismic over the Sampaguita Gas Field, which the Directors believe is potentially a world-class discovery.
In the second half of 2006 the Company expects to further build and develop its portfolio, positioning itself to exploit opportunities when they arise and introducing partners as appropriate to help fund the program.
