      Press Release

Team Entertainment Heads to MIPCOM With 90 Hours of New Programming for 2001 Season
Extensive Drama and Reality Programming Slate Includes Television Movies and Series
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 26, 2000--TEAM Entertainment (Nasdaq:TMTV - news) will be heading to MIPCOM with 90 new hours of dramatic and reality-based programming for the 2001 season, it was jointly announced today by Drew S. Levin, TEAM Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and James Waldron, TEAM Entertainment`s recently appointed President.

``TEAM Entertainment`s current programming slate represents a significant increase over last year. This outstanding achievement is a tribute to our talented production group headed by Jamie Waldron,`` commented Levin. ``The level of our programming content has clearly risen and considering the significant amount of projects we have in active development, there is no doubt that this trend will continue into the future.``

``This is an exciting time for TEAM,`` said Waldron. ``We have an outstanding production slate coupled with a burgeoning development roster, and are confident that these new shows will perform exceptionally well in the domestic and international marketplace,`` concluded Waldron.

Leading TEAM`s dramatic production line-up is the action adventure series ``Spartacus.`` Based on Rome`s legendary slave-turned-gladiator, revered rebel leader and pivotal figure in Roman history, this 22-hour series for first-run syndication was created by Neil Russell and Dennis Hacken. Russell, an accomplished producer with over 30 network television movies and miniseries to his credit, is serving as executive producer.

``Spartacus`` earmarks the first production under the TEAM banner with Russell, who has recently signed an exclusive first-look deal with TEAM Entertainment to produce and develop movies, series and miniseries for network, first-run and cable television. ``Spartacus`` is being prepped for production in Australia for a Fall 2001 premiere.

Another one of TEAM`s high-profile properties is MTV`s first-ever one-hour dramatic series, ``Live Through This.`` Boasting a cast of talented newcomers and original music written by Graham Nash and performed by Pat Benatar, this hip weekly series explores what happens when a family reunion is combined with a rock band reunion. The initial 13 hours currently airing in primetime on MTV have received outstanding reviews from the media. ``Live Through This`` is produced by Telescene Film Group in association with YTV Canada. TEAM maintains the international distribution rights.

Set to begin production on the eve of Halloween is TEAM`s original 26 episode half-hour series ``Vampire High,`` a campy teen drama about coming of age in two parallel worlds that are destined to collide (a la ``Party of Five`` with fangs). ``Vampire High`` is produced by La Fete Productions in association with Microtainment Productions and TEAM Entertainment. TEAM has the international distribution rights.

TEAM`s fast-growing television movie and miniseries division headed by former ABC executive Philippe Perebinossoff, is also making great strides. Among the slate of new production commitments is MTV`s upcoming primetime television event movie, ``Anatomy Of A Hate Crime,`` produced in association with Lawrence Bender (the Oscar-winning producer of ``Good Will Hunting`` and ``Pulp Fiction``) and Kevin Brown (``Roswell``) under their production company`s banner, A Band Apart.

In another breakthrough for TEAM`s long-form division, the company has recently optioned the New York Times best-selling novel ``While I Was Gone,`` from Oprah Winfrey`s renowned Book of the Month Club. Penned by acclaimed author Sue Miller (``Inventing the Abbotts,`` ``The Good Son``), this intimate story reveals how the past resurfaces to haunt our lives.

TEAM also continues to shine in the area of reality-based programming. Its prolific in-house division has recently inked deals to produce 32 new hours of original programming for Discovery Networks` The Learning Channel and Travel Channel. For Travel Channel, TEAM has recently completed production on 26 half-hours of ``Places of Mystery,`` and based on the success of its first season, is currently planning a second season of 26 half-hours of ``Destination: Style.`` For The Learning Channel, TEAM is producing, in association with Burrud Productions, 6 hours of ``Weird World,`` the primetime reality-based series that explores the most bizarre subcultures, belief systems and rites around the world.

For PAX TV, TEAM is producing seven one-hour shows of the reality-based series, ``Outrageous Rescues,`` based on the highly successful ``It`s A Miracle`` franchise currently airing on PAX TV. The series will feature four thrilling rescue stories complete with eyewitness accounts and dramatic recreations in each episode. ``Outrageous Rescues`` will be offered internationally as seven one-hours or 13 half-hours and will be available for distribution in early 2001.

All of TEAM Entertainment`s original programming will make its debut internationally at the upcoming MIPCOM festival in Cannes scheduled to begin October 2nd under the TEAM International banner.

TEAM Communications Group, Inc. currently owns and distributes over 4,000 hours of programming worldwide, in addition to producing a wide variety of programming for leading U.S. and international broadcasters. TEAM maintains offices in Los Angeles, Munich (through its TEAM Entertainment Germany (GmbH)) and London (through its TEAM Dandelion Ltd. Operations). It shares trade on NASDAQ-NMS (TMTV) and on the German Neuer Markt (TME).

      Hallo,
