Sehr starkes Wachstum!
Also zurücklehnen!

Com hält) bestärkt mich in meiner Meinung.

zugeschlagen.

Vergleichen immer recht vorsichtig bin.

* chinadotcom has entered into an agreement to invest in Korea Online and
establish a joint venture fund.
* This deal marks an acceleration of chinadotcom`s strategy to increase its
presence in Korea, which we consider to be one of the most promising markets
in Asia for providers of Internet services and e-commerce.
* We are positive on this initiative which follows hot on the heels of
chinadotcom`s efforts to expand its presence in Japan through previously
announced joint ventures with Softbank and TransCosmos.
KEY POINTS
chinadotcom has announced that it is entering into an agreement to invest in
Korea Online Limited and to establish a 50/50 joint venture fund with the
latter to support Internet-related projects in Korea, one of the fastest-
growing and biggest Internet markets in Asia.
We view Korea as being a particularly attractive market for providers of
Internet services given the scale of the market (total population of 47
million and 10 million Internet users by end-1999, according to the Ministry
of Information and Communication) and the high degree of receptivity of the
Korean population towards technology and e-commerce, as illustrated by the
fact that over 40% of share trading volume in the country is conducted online,
making Korea a world leader in this area.
The joint venture further reinforces chinadotcom`s growing presence in the
important Korean Internet market. The company already employs more than 150
professionals in three offices in Korea in its online advertising (24/7 Media
Asia) and web solutions businesses (The Web Connection and its subsidiaries)
serving clients such as Samsung (05930.KS, W310,000, Not Rated) SK Telecom
(17670.KS, W3,955,000, rated 1-Buy), Hyundai (00660.KS, W24,000, rated 1-Buy),
LG Electronics (02610.KS, W29,500, rated 1-Buy) and Kolon (02020.KS, W9,970,
Not Rated).
Korea Online is an integrated online financial services company that provides
a range of broking, insurance and banking services. It was established in
1999 to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Internet and the
financial deregulation which has taken place in Korea in recent years. Korea
Online aims to become the premier Korean insurance portal. The company is
46.2%-owned by Regent Pacific Group (0575.HK, HK$2.70, Not Rated), a Hong
Kong-based financial services group which has recently shifted its focus
toward technology and Internet investments. Korea Online owns one of only 11
non-life (P&C) insurance licenses in Korea.
Through its ability to leverage the benefits of its unique `build, distribute,
sell` investment-driven business model, we believe chinadotcom will be able to
deliver significant operating synergies to investee companies within the
proposed JV fund. The deal also marks the beginning of chinadotcom`s push to
develop online content distribution and community building in the Korean
market. As part of the cooperation between the two companies, Korea Online
will use chinadotcom`s e-business solutions arm, Web Connection, for the
development of its online infrastructure. Another chinadotcom subsidiary,
24/7 Media Asia, will manage online advertising for related websites in Korea.
COMMENT
In the wake of its recent agreements with TransCosmos and Softbank (9984.T,
?112,000, rated 1-Buy), which will help to expand chinadotcom`s presence in
the huge Japanese market, we view the increased commitment to Korea signified
by the deal with Korea Online as a strong positive for chinadotcom. Through
the `build, distribute, sell operating platform` chinadotcom is able to
deliver tangible synergies to the companies within its continuously expanding
portfolio of regional Internet companies. Through its partnerships with
Softbank, TransCosmos, Accton Technology and now Korea Online, chinadotcom has
established a strong presence in each of what we consider to be the most
attractive Internet markets in Asia in the near term (namely Japan, Taiwan,
and Korea) given the size of these markets, their high levels of GDP per-
capita, high receptivity to new technology and fast-growing Internet user
populations.
Moreover, given its ability to consummate deals with major players in the most
attractive Internet markets in Asia, chinadotcom`s entrepeunerial management
team continues to illustrate how it is capitalizing on the company`s first-
mover advantage, Nasdaq-listed status and the opportunities represented by the
rapid growth of the Internet in Asia to establish itself as the leading
integrated Internet company in the region. We reiterate our 1-Buy rating and
our DCF-based share price target of US$170.

Is leider meistens so, wenns mal richtig bergab geht, fängt das große Schweigen an.

Hi judge,

Hi fasteddi

SHANGHAI, May 4 (Reuters) - Nasdaq plans to open an office in Shanghai in June to help Chinese firms aiming to list in the United States, a top official from the U.S. exchange said on Thursday.
"We hope it will be opening next month and we`re anxious to see it happen," said John Wall, president of Nasdaq International Ltd.
The technologies-heavy Nasdaq market is owned by the National Association of Securities Dealers.
The exchange was also holding discussions with the Shanghai stock exchange, one of mainland China`s two bourses, on a cooperative agreement following other international alliances, he said.
"We are talking with the Shanghai stock exchange and I think we`re proceeding very well, but there`s no rush on this," Wall told Reuters in an interview.
"In Shanghai, we`ll be looking at a cooperative agreement," he said at the opening of the city`s first Starbucks <SBUX.O> outlet. Coffee retailer Starbucks Corp is a Nasdaq-listed firm.
Wall said it was too early to say what might develop from the cooperative agreement.
But it could eventually provide the springboard for Chinese investors to trade Nasdaq securities in local currency, or even the creation of a Nasdaq Hong Kong/China, he said.
"It could lead to many things," he said. "It really is too early."
Seven Nasdaq stocks will list on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong by the end of this month, making it easier and cheaper for investors to trade these companies, Wall said.
"Once we`ve established that and really shown that you can do this, then it opens a lot of vistas and we`ll be looking at other things to do," he said.
Nasdaq Japan, a new market to be set up on the Osaka Securities Exchange, will begin operating in mid-June.
Nasdaq has also just linked up with iX, the new European exchange created by the merger between the London and Frankfurt exchanges, to create a market in high-growth stocks. DEMAND FOR CHINESE STOCKS
Wall said investors were still hungry for Chinese companies and several could list on Nasdaq this year if market conditions were favourable.
"I think there`s very strong demand for companies that might come to our market," he said. "I think before the end of the year you`ll see at least a dozen companies come."
Chinese-related firms already listed on Nasdaq include Internet firms Chinadotcom Corp <CHINA.O> and Sina.Com <SINA.O>. A number of others, including Sohu.com Inc and Netease.com Inc, have said they planned Nasdaq listings.
Wall said plans by China`s Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges to set up special trading boards for high-technology firms this year did not pose a competitive threat to Nasdaq.
China`s establishment of the new boards would succeed if regulators could promote a high level of transparency, he said.
"The first thing they have to do is develop their market on total transparency and total openness to the investor," Wall said. "If that is the motto and that is what they build their market on, they`ll have a very successful market."

Genau.

Könnt Ihr mir sonst etwas anderes in Asien empfehlen, was langfristig riesen Gewinne machen wird???
Vielen lieben Dank für Eure Antworten im Voraus!!!

Hallo BabeV

diesmal bei 28, zeigen also relative Stärke.

Jahre so.

hongkong.com Corporation Announces Q1 2000 revenue growth of 9,327 percent over Q1 1999
Strongest Balance Sheet with HK$1.2 billion in Cash
Hong Kong, May 14, 2000 - hongkong.com Corporation [www.hongkong.com; GEM stock code 8006], a subsidiary of chinadotcom corporation, today announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY2000.
Total revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2000 were HK$16.3 million, a 9,327 percent increase from total revenues over the same period in 1999. The company`s operating loss during the first quarter of this year was $15.8 million, while net loss was $11.3 million.
hongkong.com had three primary areas of revenue including advertising, content services and e-Commerce. Respectively, revenue for these areas were $8.2 million, $6.9 million, and $1.2 million, representing 50 percent, 42 percent and 8 percent of total revenues. During the quarter, the number of advertisers on hongkong.com increased to 70 from 40 in the previous quarter. e-Commerce was a new stream of revenue this quarter due to the launch of hongkong.com`s Shop4U service at the end of 1999.
hongkong.com Corporation achieved 3.2 million daily pageviews in the quarter, representing 28 percent growth from the previous quarter, and the company reached 1.1 million registered subscribers by March 31, 2000.
"We are very pleased with our first results announcement since our IPO this year in March," commented Rudy Chan, Chief Executive Officer of hongkong.com Corporation. "Despite the recent volatility throughout the global stock markets, hongkong.com is well positioned to continue to execute its business plan due to its strong balance sheet relative to other local portals. We have over $1.2 billion in cash as a result of our successful GEM listing, and combined with the strong momentum we have built throughout the past year and a half, we have considerable strength to leverage towards our continued growth."
Throughout the first quarter, hongkong.com continued to execute its "3C`s" strategy - Content, Community and Commerce.
"hongkong.com has invested in a total number of 21 major content channels, three of which were launched during this quarter," said Mr. Chan. "We are certain that our impressive pageview growth is a result of our focus on building unique online communities for our users. It is the strength of our content, and the resulting dynamic communities that we have created that make hongkong.com a leading portal in the region."
hongkong.com`s investment in infoisLive.com Ltd., a leading Wireless Application Services (WAP) provider, demonstrates the portal`s commitment to providing the latest technology to benefit its subscribers. hongkong.com uses its investment in WAP technology as an alternative distribution platform for its content, thereby creating additional options for subscribers.
e-Commerce has also been a new area of revenue growth and the company expects to see continued growth as it rolls out its regional e-Commerce initiatives during the next several quarters. In particular, the company seeks to invest in e-Commerce infrastructure as part of its regional growth strategy.
Mr. Chan continued, "Our outlook for this year remains positive, as we will increase the number and depth of our content channels, as well as expand the number of community products to maintain the growth momentum of hongkong.com`s registered subscriber base. Furthermore, the recent correction in global stock markets would allow us to make acquisitions and investments at much more attractive prices, and this will benefit our shareholders. Our impressive performance in the past quarter is a manifestation of our sound execution of a clear and focused strategy."

Gut, ich denke, ich bin jetzt schlauer! Also vielen Dank für Eure hilfreichen Antworten!

@BabeV:
Warum teurer kaufen ? Weil Du Gewinner magst. "The trend is your friend." Natürlich darfst Du nicht vergessen, Deine Marken nachzuziehen: Neuer Kaufkurs/1,5 = Stop; neuer Kaufkurs*1.5 = Buy.
- Sei konsequent.
- Erstmal keine Gewinne entnehmen.
In diesem Sinne, gute Gewinne

Was es Neues gibt?

Gerade jetzt braucht man doch gute Informationen.

vielleicht 10-15 EUR,dann erst solte man voll einsteigen.

Na ja, ich hab was draus gelernt!!!

Qualität sollte man spätestens jetz einsammel.
nacher wieder nicht jammern will

chinadotcom corporation Expands Asian Footprint by Forming Strategic Alliance in India with eIndia.com
HONG KONG, June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- chinadotcom corporation (Nasdaq: CHINA) (Website: http://www.corp.china.com), the leading pan-Asian Internet company, has entered into a strategic alliance with eIndia.com Inc., a leading platform which acts as an Internet gateway for Indian online communities around the world. Through this alliance, chinadotcom will obtain additional revenue by providing content, e-business and online advertising services.
Under the agreement, chinadotcom will help:
(1) build eIndia`s site through its e-business integrator Web Connection;
(2) distribute comprehensive and in-depth content from its existing
vertical portals such as Sportasia.com and FinanceAsia.com;
(3) sell on-line advertising through 24/7 Media Asia; and
licence its technology platform of over 30 community and e-commerce
products under the `4U` series * such as Shop4U, Free4U, Home4U,
Post4U , Club4U, WAP4U, Chat4U and Points4U
By expanding the deployment of its existing services to its ever expanding Asian footprint, chinadotcom is once again leveraging its existing operational and cost infrastructure to create additional revenue streams. "This expansion into India brings to over 10 the markets served by chinadotcom corporation. Our business now stretches from Japan to Australia to India, adding further substance to our "pan-Asian" model. More importantly, by leveraging existing operational and cost infrastructure, chinadotcom is able to create higher scalability and economies of scale across multiple markets," said Peter Yip, chinadotcom corporation`s Chief Executive Officer.
In addition, chinadotcom has a 13% stake in eIndia.com Inc., giving the company immediate access to more than 2.6 million resident Indians with online access and 34 million non-resident Indians worldwide.
With IDC forecasting India`s online subscriber base to rise from less than one million to more than eight million over the next four years, the alliance effectively positions chinadotcom to capture the business potential offered by this fast growing market.
"eIndia.com`s California credentials and Indian connections make it an excellent partner for targeting the increasing numbers of Indian Internet subscribers around the world," said Peter Yip, chinadotcom corporation`s Chief Executive Officer. "Importantly, by increasing our reach and depth of resources, we will ensure that Indian and Asian communities are well-served with chinadotcom`s Internet services thereby building a long-term pan-Asian revenue-base."
"This is a significant step for our company and we`re extremely pleased to form strategic alliances with partners like chinadotcom," said Rajeev Tandon, eIndia.com`s founder and CEO. "These agreements will help propel eIndia.com to the forefront of the Asian Internet community, allowing us to broaden our reach while introducing new users and partners to the burgeoning Indian market."
eIndia.com`s objective is to become the premier business and consumer "India" portal and e-commerce innovator, providing services for both resident and overseas Indian Internet users. Established in 1999, eIndia.com already offers online shopping services ranging from online grocery purchase and delivery in partnership with UPS Air shipping service, to bargain airfares for travelling to India. It has a quality local and international news channel with up-to-the-minute headlines, a site created in co-operation with leading film-stars and directors, as well dedicated financial and investor channels.
