MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 2018-- Covalon Technologies Ltd. (the "Company" or "Covalon") (TSXV: COV; OTCQX: CVALF), an advanced medical technologies company, has been informed that it has won a series of competitive contracts in the Middle East with an estimated sales value of $100 million over a three-year period.

The series of competitive contracts awarded to Covalon includes the granting of approximately ten categories of products under the Executive Board of Health Ministers’ Council for Gulf Cooperation Council States (called “SGH”), as well as several contracts outside of the SGH in Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region that extend up to three years to supply Covalon’s highly-regarded IV Clear, ColActive Plus, and CovaWound products.

The majority of the contracts have been awarded to Covalon through highly competitive bidding processes that involved the clinical evaluation of each product. The series of winning contracts extend over a period of three years and management anticipates delivery of the products under the contracts to commence by the Company’s fiscal quarter ended December 31st 2018.

As more information becomes available, Covalon will provide further updates on the impact of each of these contract wins.

mein Posting war mehr an Simon gerichtet und seine erneuten Überlegungen, die zukünftigen x-bagger zu identifizieren

Zu cry, ja, könnte was werden (auf die WL), ich persönlich bevorzuge tatsächlich Aktien, deren Outperformance sich bereits in der Bilanz niederschlägt. So verpasst man zwar oft den ersten x-bagger, andererseits bleiben einem auch potentielle Rohrkrepierer eher erspart.
Aber viele Wege führen nach Rom und unsere sind sowieso sehr ähnlich.

ja schon, nichtsdestotrotz, konnte und kann man für aapl, amzn, pypl, oder vielleicht auch für eine cry durchaus ohne besonders großen Genius eine Zukunftsvision entwickeln, jenseits der hier nicht zielführenden Bilanzbetrachtung oder gar einer Valuebetrachtung - das ist es, worauf ich hinaus will.

und deswegen so auf dem armen, bedauernswerten, frisch vermählten Simon rumhacke.

x-bagger bis 2025

Die Zukunft ist und bleibt unbestimmt, je weiter entfernt, desto mehr.

Ergo interessiert 2025 gar nicht, sondern mit all den bekannten Informationsmöglichkeiten nach Einzelunternehmen suchen, die HEUTE und in der näheren Zukunft aussichtsreich aussehen (alle bekannten Kriterien, Schwerpunkt Wachstum).
Dabei weniger auf menschgemachte Schubladen wie Branchen-, Länderzugehörigkeit, small-large etc. fokussieren, auch nicht so sehr darauf, was man selber vermutet, sondern sich primär auf reale Fakten ( = Bilanz) verlassen.
Verluste begrenzen, ansonsten laufen lassen.

Auch so wird man nicht immer nur erfolgreich sein, aber imho ist so die Wahrscheinlichkeit am größten, dass einzelne Outperformer im eigenen Depot landen.

stimmt - aber Firma wird seit 2 Jahren neu erfunden. Vorher langweilig, träge und viel zu hohe Kosten.

It also has to be stated that the completion of this consolidation can end with a break down or a break out in prices. Look at the wedge pattern that has now emerged over this consolidation phase. Higher lows, but also lower highs. What usually develops when the fundamental story is good, the price action gets squeezed and is forced up and out of the triangle. Of course no guarantees come with that pattern. In this present set up, the index might still remain in the consolidation box with no immediate resolution.

What may be back on the table of scenarios to consider is another retest of the February lows. (2532). The possibility also exists for that retest to establish a quick, shallow undercut low that could then end the corrective phase. The volatility continued, and the short term look changed again with the reversal on Thursday, followed by a continuation rally on Friday. That action placed the index right back in the middle of the consolidation phase.

Going back to probabilities, one can only assemble the evidence available, then conclude what scenario has the better chance of occurring. I know all of this is redundant, but that's what makes a successful investor. Going over the same solid principles that successful investors employ. Best not to jump ahead and get reactionary. One day one week at a time.

According to this week’s sentiment survey from AAII, bullish sentiment declined from 36.9% down to 28.4%.
