Fortune River Accepted for Trading on Frankfurt Stock Exchange

Fortune River Resource Corp. (TSX VENTURE:FRX)(FWB:RG7A) reported today that its shares have been accepted for trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange; Open Market (Freiverkehr) under the trading symbol "RG7A".

"Listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange will increase the profile of Fortune River with both private and institutional investors across Europe," stated Robert Swenarchuk, Sr. VP Corporate Development of Fortune River. Fortune River Resource Corp.: 5,000-meter Drill Program Planned in Nevada

Fortune River Resource Corp. (TSX VENTURE:FRX) reported today that Newcrest Resources, Inc. ("Newcrest"), a subsidiary of Australian-based Newcrest Mining Limited, has initiated permitting for their 2006 exploration program at Fortune River`s Highland low-sulfidation gold/silver project in Nevada. The Highland project is one of four that Fortune River is exploring in a highly prospective area of the Walker Lane gold trend.

Permitting is underway for 19 drill sites, in anticipation of a two-phase drilling program totaling approximately 5,000 meters. Phase I is expected to consist of up to 15 relatively shallow reverse-circulation holes for a total of approximately 3,000 meters. Phase II is expected to consist of up to 4 relatively deep reverse-circulation and/or core holes for a total of approximately 2,000 meters. Phase I is planned to begin during April or May, with Phase II beginning late summer or early fall. Phase I will explore for new mineralization in areas on strike with known mineralization along the A and B zones that underlie thin gravel cover, and Phase II will provide deeper tests below known mineralization or below mineralization discovered during Phase I. In addition, selected assaying is planned for remaining intervals of unassayed core from the seven-hole, 2,190-meter core program completed during 2005 (see news release dated May 27, 2005), and a detailed geophysical survey is being considered over the Big Hammer target, located four kilometers east of the main vein system.

Newcrest can earn a 70% interest in the project (see news release dated November 2, 2005) by spending US$5.0 million and producing a prefeasiblity study by the fifth anniversary of the agreement. Drilling is expected to test new targets at this largely gravel-covered 260-claim property as well as mineralization previously outlined in part by Fortune River, including a bonanza-grade reverse-circulation drill intercept of 66.9 g/t Au and 397.7 g/t Ag over 1.5 meters from the A Zone (see news release December 19, 2003). The high-grade intercept occurs within a 12.2 metre section of 9.5 g/t Au and 109.4 g/t Ag.

Der mittlere Umsatz lag dort alleine gestern bei ca. 1 Mio. Euros, von 'markteng' kann man also nicht sprechen;-) Mal sehn, wozu die Bekanntheit in good old Germany noch führen kann!

Fortune River Commences Drilling at Drayton

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 3, 2006) - Fortune River Resource Corp. (TSX VENTURE:FRX)(FWB:RG7A) reported today that the company has started drilling at the six claim, 1392 hectares, Drayton Archean-vein gold project, located 10 km southeast of Sioux Lookout, northern Ontario. To date, two holes of the anticipated ten-hole, 1500 metre program have been completed. The drill program will initially focus on a 500 metre-long trend exposed in trenches at the Shaft prospect, where previous historic sampling and sampling conducted on behalf of Fortune River Resource Corp. returned 17 of 28 grab and chip samples with +1 g/t Au, including seven samples with values ranging from 9.3 to 12.2 g/t Au. The company also expects to test five additional targets that were identified through ground magnetic and IP geophysics.

Mein Freund und Kupferstecher Robert kauft im Jan. 13000 Stk na ja hat auch wieder 20000 von seinen alten Optionen verkauft man muß ja leben.
Wieso kauft der denn Shares von nem toten Unternehmen und zu Preisen zwischen 0,50-0,59.
Dann hat mir einer in Canada erzählt ja ja aktiv sind die schon
aber ob das mal was wird Ne Stunde vorher hatte mir einer gesagt ich soll den mal fragen der wär investiert
So und dann erfährt man das ein Schwesterunternehmen denen mal so eben das Bohrgerät geliehen hat um im Dreck von Nevada mal ein wenig tiefer zu buddeln. Wahrscheinlich reine Beschäftigungstherapie oder das Bohrgerät muß seine Betriebsstunden voll bekommen
Dann werde ich den heutigen Tag mal damit verbringen wo die da buddeln und was sonst noch alles verschwiegen wird
Man sollte dabei beachten die Mutter heißt hier auch Manex Group

Mr. Eyton is currently the managing partner of Topping Eyton & Partners in Vancouver, British Columbia. His experience ranges from public and private audits to serving as a Board member on public companies. Mr. Eyton graduated first in his class at Lakehead University and second in Canada for his Chartered Accountant designation, and most recently, he completed his Directors Education Program sponsored by the Institute of Corporate Directors.

The company also reported today that the company has granted 422,000 incentive stock options to directors, officers, employees and consultants, each exercisable at $0.45 per share and for a period of five years.

Drilling Begins at Fortune River’s Baxter Property


Fortune River Resource Corp. said today that drilling has commenced at the Company's Baxter project, one of four of the Company's low-sulfidation gold/silver properties within the highly prospective Walker Lane gold trend in northwestern Nevada. The Company's Highland, Mud Springs, Buz, and Baxter properties are all located within approximately 20 kilometers of one another. Up to fifteen reverse-circulation drill holes (approximately 3,600 meters) are planned at Baxter, which consists of 115 claims (approximately 930 hectares).

During 2004, the Company drilled two target areas on the property, Baxter and Chugiak. Results verified the presence of a strong gold-biased low-sulfidation system, with zones of anomalous gold (+300 ppb) intersected in 10 of the company's 11 holes. Hole B04006 encountered the strongest mineralization, intersecting 1.5 metres of 9.12 g/t Au within a 6.1 metre interval of 3.5 g/t Au (true thickness is estimated to be 5.2 metres), beginning at a depth of approximately 50 metres at the Chugiak target area (see News release dated November 18, 2004). Vein mineralogy/textures and geochemistry suggest these holes tested high levels of the system. After 2004 drilling, a detailed ground magnetic survey was conducted over the northern and southern portions of the property, which was then integrated with the Company's database of detailed surface mapping, surface sampling, and historic drill data. Several linear magnetic lows, possibly representing magnetite destruction, correspond with poorly exposed zones of quartz veining and gold mineralization in surface samples and in historic drill holes. The current program will test several newly developed targets, as well as deeper portions of the Baxter and Chu giak targets.

Mud Springs drilling planned
Later this season, the Company plans to drill eight reverse-circulation drill holes (approximately 1950 meters) at the Company's Mud Springs property, which consists of 79 claims (approximately 640 hectares) located approximately 10 kilometers northwest of Baxter. Detailed ground magnetic data was collected and integrated with the Company's detailed surface mapping and sampling. Several linear magnetic lows appear to trace zones of silicification and gold mineralization through areas covered by shallow gravel. Grab samples from exposed zones of silicification range from background concentrations to +9 g/t gold and +700 g/t silver (see News Release dated June 24, 2005). These samples are believed to be from a high-level of the system, possibly representing leakage above deeper high-grade gold and silver mineralization.

Highland drill status
Newcrest Resources Inc. (Newcrest), a subsidiary of Australian-based Newcrest Mining Limited, continues to log, cut and assay their four “deep” core holes (a total of 1,652 metres) at Fortune River 's Highland project in Nevada. Newcrest is in the process of planning a drilling program at Highland for their 2007/8 budget year, which begins on July 1 st.

Wind Mtn drill status
The Company has completed its first-phase, relatively shallow (200-300m holes) drilling program at the Wind Mtn property in Nevada . A total of 13 holes (2,970 metres) were completed, with final assays pending for the eight holes not reported yet. Once all assays have been received and evaluated, the Company will determine if its planned second phase of deeper (300-450m holes) drilling will utilize core or a larger reverse-circulation drill rig.

Drayton drill status
The Company has completed its second-phase drilling program at the Drayton property in Ontario. A total of 10 holes (2,324 metres) were completed, with final assays pending.
