Adelong gets powered up by solar possibilities 17:17
SYDNEY (eScoop) - Adelong Capital (AEG) has branched into renewable energy as one of its technology investments as it attempts to get relisted on the ASX by the end of August.

The Perth-based company, originally a junior miner, has committed to invest $160,000 into Solar Energy Systems ahead of a proposed float of the green energy company later this year.

The purchase will give Adelong around 4.93% of SES`s expanded issued capital after the share placement.

Adelong sounds keen on SES`s know-how, which includes a programmable light-sensitive trucking mechanism for its PV (solar power) panels, allowing them to follow the sun during the course of the day and get the most out of its rays.

Adelong said the investment is part of its ongoing strategy to invest in technology-related companies. But it`s a bit of a move away from the company`s previous investments in the IT, telecoms and electronic media sectors, as well as a 25.5% stake in the free internet provider FreeISP.com.

Adelong was suspended from trading on the ASX early this year after a massive surge in its share price which it was unable to explain and has since been remodelling itself as a technology investment company.

Na wenigstens ist Oddlot nicht dabei. Dann waren die meißten deutschen Privatanleger doch intelligenter als ich dachte. Wenn man mal den ersten Handelstag ausschließt.
