Owners of PCI based Apple or Apple clones and Apple Beige or Blue & White G3¹s can now choose between G3 500Mhz or Altivec enabled G4 400Mhz processor upgrade cards for only $369.00. Additionally, the 400Mhz G3 with 1MB of backside cache for PCI machines is only $269.00.
Metabox is committed to offering the best value for the money to the public in the US market. In addition to the cards listed above there are a limited number of closeout cards available for less than $150. These cards are for PCI based Apple or Apple clones and machines based on the Tanzania motherboard from Apple and Motorola. The closeouts and the full line of Metabox cards can be purchsed through Outpost.com, Other World Computing and at the Metabox on-line store.
Tanzania based machines include the Apple 4400 series and Motorola Starmax series.
