Hallo zusammen!

Lynas sieht sehr aussichtreich aus!
Ich habe mir den Bericht mal angeschaut und eine Studie soll seitens der Firma bis ende diesen Jahres fertiggestellt werden!

Ok Cash scheint ja aufgrund der im Sept. 2009 ausgegebenen Aktien genug vorhanden zu sein!

Nur seh ich ein problem dass 1.655.499.093 (1,6 milliarden!!!) Shares vorhanden sind und bis 2014 nochmal 65mio an optionen bereit stehen!

Interessant wird sein wie hoch die Kosten sein werden!
Oder gibt es da schon irgendwelche angaben? (hab bis jetzt nur eine kurzberechnung gesehen preis 50-6 http://www.wallstreet-online.de/diskussion/1126458-651-660/l…)

Vielleicht hab ich es überlesen aber wann soll der Produktionsbeginn sein?

Mir ist heute aufgefallen, dass wir für Käufe in AUD derzeit in Europa nicht die besten Karten haben. Setzt jemand schon auf eine Umkehrung des Downtrends von EUR/AUD? Wenn ja, womit?

Der alljährige Finanzreport, in Australien jeweils immer zu 30.06. fällig, ist Heute nachbörslich veröffentlicht worden.

Auf 76-Seiten hat der Partner (Ernst & Young) dabei eingige neue Vorschriften zu beachten.
Von der Finanzlage aus ist bei Lynas natürlich alle im grünen Bereich.

So ist es und wenn amn sich dazu die weiteren REO-Preissteigerungen auf FOB China ansieht kann IHMO von einer Überproduktion kaum ausgegangen werden.

Boeing launches search for crucial rare earth elements
Minerals, facing shortage, are key for military hardware, cell phones

Boeing has signed a deal to deploy remote sensing technology to map out U.S. deposits of rare earth elements.

The rare earth family of minerals is the real-life version of the precious element "unobtanium" in James Cameron's movie "Avatar." They are used to make everything from military hardware to humble cell phones, but could soon be in short supply as worldwide demand outstrips mining production in China.

The aerospace and defense giant announced today that it will confirm rare earth mining claims held by U.S. Rare Earths, Inc. at locations in Idaho and Montana and also aid in the search for new deposits.

"They’re very interested in finding and validating domestic reserves," said Patrick Kennedy, public relations coordinator for U.S. Rare Earths.

This marks the latest step in a global race to hunt down rare earth deposits. China currently supplies as much as 97 percent of the world's rare earth oxides, but has recently taken steps to cut back on exports and feed the growing demands of its own industries.

New rare earth mines in the U.S., Australia, Canada and South Africa won't start up until at least 2014, based on industry estimates. But major corporations such as General Electric and Toyota have begun quietly moving to secure their own supplies in case of a shortfall.

Staking out the deposits
Early lab analyses by Boeing have confirmed "light" and scarcer "heavy" rare earth elements in samples from the U.S. Rare Earths holdings.

One of the highest concentrations of rare earth elements appeared in a previously unannounced deposit staked out at North Fork, Idaho. Surveys showed about 5.8 percent rare earth elements on average within the deposit's rocks, said Ed Cowle, CEO of U.S. Rare Earths.

"We have found the total rare earth percentage in the North Fork area is much higher than anything we’ve found before," Cowle told TechNewsDaily.

North Fork notably contains large quantities of the rare earth element neodymium — a very magnetic substance used in everything from computer hard drives to wind turbines and Toyota's Prius hybrid car. Airliners and fighter jets also make frequent use of neodymium.

Some North Fork samples showed neodymium concentrations as high as 3.7 percent.

Boeing also plans to tour U.S. Rare Earths deposits at Lehmi Pass, on the border between Idaho and Montana, and at Diamond Creek, Idaho, in late September.

Between the Lehmi Pass and Diamond Creek reserves, U.S. Rare Earths holds most of the current known deposits of "heavies" in the U.S., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

High-tech prospecting
Boeing's remote sensing technology will "greatly enhance" U.S. Rare Earth's capabilities in searching for new deposits of rare earth elements, according to Cowle.

The technology — the details of which have not been revealed — can scan wide areas from airplanes or satellites, and then identify rare earth elements or other substances based upon their spectral fingerprints – electromagnetic emissions that reveal a substance's chemical nature.

Boeing's decision to bring its technology to bear in the hunt for rare earth elements is not surprising, given that it is a massive end user of the metals.
Rare earth elements remain crucial not only for current consumer products such as cell phones, PCs and TV displays, but also for military technologies.
Tank sights, lasers, radar, missile-guidance systems, satellites and aircraft electronics all use rare earth elements, according to the U.S. Government Accountability Office in an April report.
Still, U.S. Rare Earths cautioned that the findings represent just the first step down a long road toward opening new U.S. mines and building new refineries. Rebuilding an independent U.S. supply chain could take up to 15 years, according to experts.
Just one U.S. company, Molycorp, is currently producing rare earth materials from its stockpiles.

Noch einmal zu Boeing und der Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe oder wie man das nennen soll. Auf jeden Fall geht überall in der Industrie die Angst um, es fehlt an allen Ecken und Enden an Seltenen Erden (die wie wir ja alle inzwischen wissen, nicht wirklich selten, aber dennoch in wirtschaftlich nützlichen Konzentrationen auch nicht wie Sand am Meer vorliegen).

....U.S. Rare Earths Inc., a private mining company, announced that new sensing studies on their deposits will be carried out with the help of aerospace company Boeing. The US Geological Survey has called the company's deposits in Idaho, Colorado and Montana some of the most significant rare earth deposits in North America.

“"Boeing's technology will greatly enhance our exploration capabilities and provide a competitive advantage for the discovery of new deposits," said Edward Cowle, CEO of U.S. Rare Earths.

"Boeing will utilize a version of their remote sensing research technology on USRE documented mining claims in the Lemhi Pass, Diamond Creek and North Fork,” stated the press release.

The move makes sense for Boeing, a major consumer of rare earth oxides (REOs) in its production of military technology. Many other companies, such as Toyota, have been looking to secure their own supply of REOs as China cuts back exports.

Nun ja, wir als Lynas Aktionäre können dem Treiben in aller Ruhe zuschauen, denn wir wissen: gefunden ist noch lange nicht aufgearbeitet. Mt. Weld wurde schliesslich schon in den 70' Jahren entdeckt. Der Clue liegt in der Aufarbeitung und da kann Lynas glücklicherweise auf die erfahrene Rhodia-Gruppe und den abgeworbenen (abgestellten) Manager Eric Noyrez als COO aufbauen. Rhodia möchte schliesslich auch etwas abbekommen.

Ich blicke der Zukunft mit Lynas jedenfalls um einiges ruhiger entgegen, als noch im letzten Jahr. Deswegen verstehe ich die Hektik im Thread auch nicht ganz. Naja...

Diese Hektik entsteht immer, aber wirklich immer, egal was für ein Titel, wenn Day-/Week-trader und Lonigs mit Jahren Anlagehorizont aufeinanderprallen. Für mich, als Longi, sind 10% Sprünge hoch/runter/links/recht vollkommen unrelevant. Dem Daytrader eher nicht. Wenn dann auch noch der Daytrader, nach Ausstieg, meint seine (meist was die Story an sich angeht) vollkommen uninformierte Meinung hier preis gibt ... Tja, dann passiert es halt immer wieder, dass eine "unsachliche" Stimmung aufkommt.
Ich bin schon seit Jahren der Meinung man sollte immer 2 Laberthreads eröffnen. Einen für die Longis und einen für die Kurzfristigen. Aber bringt wahrscheinlich auch nicht. Gewisse Personen haben halt ihr Mitteilungsbedürfnis.
